Katherine's POV
-
I  had a peaceful sleep until a scary nightmare interrupted....
-
In the nightmare...
-
I was sitting hugging my knees to my chest on my bed, back at my home in New York City, mom and dad were yelling back and forth to each other, I was five, I looked up to see a ghost, at least what I thought was a ghost, she introduced herself as Sybil Ambler, her eyes were missing, they were out of her sockets, 'Be safe my child, be safe,' She said then she dispersed into smoke, Sybil Ambler, I thought, that name sounded familiar...

I heard my parents' door close, I assumed my mom went to sleep, because I still heard pacing footsteps coming from the living room, I heard some muffled talking coming from the same source that I heard the pacing, then a loud gunshot was heard by my tiny ears, then my little sister screamed, a loud, throat ripping scream, I rushed out to the living room, only to see a little Hannah Davis, on the floor clinging to my dad's dead body, I wanted to yell, I wanted to yell so loud the whole world could hear me, but I was so chocked up that I couldn't speak, All I could do was cry and hug my little sister who was bawling,... then I saw a flash of a person, a ghost really, his name was Abe Portman, he too had his eyes missing from his sockets... another flash almost scared me half to death, I saw two men in their late twenties named: Myron and Caul Bentham, one had white eyes and one had a bullet hole right through his head, it looked like it was from a Winchester '94... they just kept whispering the name: 'Alma... Alma' over and over again, Alma, that's the headmistress name...

"Dad," I whispered, my tear stains sticking to my cheeks, my throat dry and scratchy, and I was drenched in my own sweat, I decided that I would go downstairs and get a glass of water, so, quietly I sat up and swung my legs over the victorian style bed, my sock-covered feet lightly hit the polished mahogany wood, and I entered the mildly cold kitchen

I turned on the sink's faucet, which made a slight shriek, I winced, My ears then, heard light footsteps, Shoot! I woke someone up! I'm going to get pummeled for this...!, I thought, I turned around only to see Millard, messy hair and all, I sighed, "Oh, sorry, I thought you were Miss Peregrine, Millard," I said, a little startled, "It's okay," he said reassuringly, I smiled inwardly, I nodded, "Millard," I said quietly he looked up, and mumbled a quiet, yeah... "Do you know who Abe Portman is, I saw him in my dream, his eyes were missing from their sockets..." I said, suddenly the tension in the air tensed up, he looked down, his messy brown hair falling in his face, I felt a hand on my shoulder and I know it wasn't Millard's, So I turned around to see the spirit of Victor Bruntley, I sighed, pinched the bridge of my nose, crossed my arms over my chest and started scolding him, "Victor, what the hell, you could of gotten Millard and I in big trouble," I rolled my eyes, "You really need to stop waking up at this time of night okay, now do you want anything," I said kind of annoyed because he could of gotten Millard and I caught by the bird, "I-I..." He stuttered trying to find the words, I'm guessing he's a little bit scared of me now that I scolded him, "I don't bite, promise, the only thing I can do is see the invisible," I said

Victor nodded, "Can you tell Miss Peregrine that something's going to happen a week from now, I can't tell her what, but it is very important, thank you," he said, "Okay, will do, bye Victor," I waved my goodbye to him, he then disappeared into a mist of smoke, I turned around to see Millard looking as shell shocked as ever, "D-Did you just talk to Victor," He managed to stutter out, "Yep," I said unfazed, he just nodded it off, "So why are you awake," he asked, "Nightmare," I said, and I re-rendered his question to him, "Erm, same as you," He said, I nodded it off, "Um... I'm going to head off to bed..." He said, I nodded and he walked upstairs, I checked my watch and it read 2:30, I decided to read for 30 minutes and then go to bed, so I picked up Tales of the peculiars, and began to read, until my watch lightly beeped signaling me to go to bed, so I put the book down and went into my shared room and fell straight asleep...

I hope you guys like it, I know it's a bit awkward, but I enjoyed writing it, BYE!
