I Stopped by WalMart before I went home to grab what I was going cook tonight. I was scared and confused about what will happen when I would've got home. Pulling up into my driveway, I got out the car and started grabbing the bags out the backseat. I spotted Christian and his homeboys outside in the backyard smoking and playing dominoes making jokes about the bitches they fucked. Walking towards the door, Christian spotted me and signaled me to go in the house. As we both walked in the house and I put the groceries down, I felt an sting to my face as I fell to the ground. He slapped me harder than he ever slapped me before. I started crying immediately and he grabbed my face and squeezed it hard I know it left an bruise.

As I screamed his homeboys came inside the house and got him off me. They was trying to calm him down, I ran into my room into the bathroom and locked it. I was counting my money from my safe and my drops when my started vibrating and it was baby girl peigh. I smiled up until I read the text. I was confused so I quickly dialed her number and waited til she picked up
"Hello" her sweet voice said as she sniffed into the phone.

Her face was swollen, her eye was black n closed and she was limping. My heart broke seeing that way. I wanted to kill that nigga.i lifted her face gently as she looked at me.
"I'm sorry Kaine, I'm so sorry as she cried. I kissed her forehead "Everything going be alright mama as I held her. She started moaning in pain and then I noticed she was bleeding through her scrubs. "FUCK!! PEIGH YOU ALRIGHT? She started to go limp and her eyes began to close. I picked her up and put her inside my car and speed ed straight to the hospital. On our way there I prayed she was good. "Bae,pls don't do this to me right Na" as I held her hand.
When we got to the hospital, I picked her up and ran inside when I saw my mom working she was the head nurse working.
"I NEED HELP SHE BARELY BREATHING YO!" 2 nurses and doctors came put her on the stretcher and ran in the back. I ran my hand down my face when my mom came in front of me. "Kaine what's going on ? What happened to that lil girl ? Who was that? I hope that you didn't do that boy " I looked at my mom and just hugged her. "ma that's Peighton and idk what happened and I would never hurt her like that but I will fucking find out what tf happened.She just came back in my life I be damn if she leave again.
