Brooke's POV:
Me and Brandon were standing in the wings waiting to be called out to perform our duet, we were watching other people do theirs and they were all so talented I was starting to think we weren't gonna win, but I just had to believe in myself that me and Brandon could do it.
"This is number 67, shouldn't come back"
Me and Brandon walked on stage and into our positions and the music started...

I did five pirouettes in the middle of the stage as Brandon danced around me I landed the last pirouette knowing that the over the head lift was coming and I had to stay still so I didn't unbalance Brandon holding me and him drop me
He swooped me up over his head and my back was curved as he spun me around and brung me back down into our ending positions.
Everyone clapped and cheered me and Brandon started walking back to the wings
We got to the rings and I jumped up on Brandon and he spun me around we were both so happy with our performance we headed back to the dressing room.
We got to the dressing room and all the moms an others and abby came in and I ran up to my mom and hugged her with a huge grin on my face, Paige came up to me "you did so good I thought it was perfect" I give her a huge hug and said thanks

It was time to go out for awards. Me and Brandon held hands as we went on the stage with all the other duets/trios as they got to 3rd we still hadn't been called out
"In 3rd place Lucy and jade with 'flying without wings' "
We both looked at eachother with hope and I squeezed his hand "in 2nd place Jake and Kay with 'we're hurting' " we still hadnt been called out and we both were so nervous incase we hadn't placed... "and 1st place is"
