i stare at the beautiful girl in front of me, i know her scent is familiar but at this point, i need to protect myself and my pack.
"can we go to your packhouse alpha?" she questions with so much hope in her eyes, i know she isn't apart of the pack so i just nod my head, it is a waste of petrol but i will just want to collapse in bed anyway. leaving everything i was doing behind i start heading to the packhouse in my car i can see her mini following closely behind mine.
stepping out of the cars we walk to my office ignoring the stares that we receive, the minute she steps into the room and closes the door behind her i know i have to do this now or it will be too late, my wolf already loves her and to be honest i do to.
"I can't do this, I alpha Adrian hereby reject you as my mate and Luna, I am sorry I just can't" I focus on moving my eyes away from her tear-stained face, i cant watch her break down, it is too much i instantly love her but it is too risky. I hear the front door open and shut, turning to the window I look down and notice her running to her car and speeding away from me, I wish I could be her mate, she was so beautiful.
"Daddy, why did you send the nice lady away?" My son questions as I turn around
"You see mummy and daddy made a whoops when we were younger which lead to you being born, your birth as you know is against the rules and if I allowed her to stay then she would be in danger and so would you and the pack" I finish staring into his eyes, i have always been truthful with him, it is not fair for me not to be.
"But I see her every day, she's my favourite teacher" he cries out making me go still, she will know that he is my son, we are already in danger, no wonder I used to smell her scent every day after school when I came home
"You can't tell her that I am your dad baby, or that you saw her today" I stumble out, I feel like she is hurt but I can't risk going to check on her, she isn't apart of my pack but she seems so familiar.

Jayden pov
"Chloe?" I scream out jumping into her arms, her face holds pain and a dull look that makes her seem like she isn't all there. I notice her sniff my top making me confused
"Why did you run away yesterday, daddy told me not to tell you I was there but I trust you not to get us into trouble" I smile out making a sad look appears on her face.
"Why couldn't you tell me you were there?" She questions looking at me concerned
"Because we could get in trouble for who my mummy is, I don't know why though" I state, I notice her look around before she moves us to the back room which is soundproof and locks the door, it is normally used for time out though.
"Baby who is your parents?" She questions in thought
"Alpha Adrian and my mummy died in childbirth" I state remembering what daddy told me, I notice a gasp leave her mouth
"Well, baby you remember the stories on the mate about the goddess giving every one of us a prince or princess? That would be our world, our happily ever after and only then could the princess and prince have kids?" She questions making me nod
"I love that book" I state I have always wanted my princess
"Well the book isn't fake, it is how we talk about your kids futures, it is against the counsels rules to have a baby with someone who isn't your mate, the goddess tells the counsel when one is born but never to who, she doesn't like it either but she loves her babies too much to turn them in, there has been talk the last 6 years of a baby born from non mates from your pack, we just never knew who, I only know because my daddy is on the council and sent me to work here to find out whos, now I know, your daddy is my mate but he left me for his protection and yours but he doesn't know I am future counsel and best bet at protecting him" she explains now sitting on the floor crying
"Please don't cry, but is our secret safe?" I question, daddy is always scared when we talk about everything
"Yes baby the secret is safe, I could never harm you or your daddy, my wolf even though rejected by your daddy has the mother bound with you so I have to protect at least you" she states making me nod, I know I have to tell daddy that I told but I'm scared
"Let's go to class shall we?" She states making me nod my head, Chole is the same age as daddy but she always stays the first half of class before going to her school, i never understood why she gets so much time off of school and daddy didn't but i don't mind means i get extra time with her.

i smile down at my drawing, Chole left two hours ago and now our assignment was to draw a photo that makes us happy to give to our parents, so i drew a photo of chole holding me with daddy smiling at us. i hope it comes true because she is amazing and would make a perfect mother for me.
i hear the classroom door open as all the parents walk in, normally beta mason comes to get me so that daddy can serve detention since he gets into heaps of fights but as i look at the door waiting for him to walk in i notice daddy walks in.
"daddy" i cry out rushing into his arms, before handing him the picture i drew
"I'm guessing the nice teacher isn't here?" he questions sniffing the air to find her stale scent
"yes she leaves at our lunchtime to go to school" i smile out, i used to beg her to take me with her but she always told me she wasn't allowed without parents permission
"i see, well how about we head home" he smiles at me but i don't miss the same dull eyes that chole had
"daddy your eyes look like clos" i smile, i always call chole clos
"who is clos?" he questions making the headteacher walk over
"he means Chloe, she is a teenager who works here, her father got her a part-time job, Jayden is her favourite student" she smiles i notice dad nodding his head
"who is her father?" daddy question, looking like something doesn't add up
"he's a council member" i chime in making dad freeze and the headteacher nod
"that he is, how do you know that Jayden" she questions
"she told me today when i wasn't feeling well" i lie not wanting to tell daddy that i tattled
"oh, well let's get you home, see you tomorrow" he smiles before grabbing all my stuff and rushing to the car, something isnt right with daddy.
