In which Theodore has been missing for a whole week, so Norman sets out to investigate. What he finds is a fluffy and cute version of his manager, which... Is honestly not the weirdest thing ever. He scoops him up and takes him back to the Snake Pit so they can figure out what happened, then some critterfied hijinks ensue.

"Are you almost there?" Silver Eye asks over the phone.

"Yeah, I'm in a taxi on my way there right now." I answer. "When I find him, I'll let you know."

"Okay... It's so weird that he just... Vanished. I admit, I'm a bit worried..."

"I am, too. But let's not jump to conclusions until we know for sure, alright?"

"Alright."

I glance out the window as the taxi slows to a stop, then I reply. "I'm here now, gotta let you go."

"Alright, Gold Eye. Be safe."

"Will do." I hang up, then I pay the driver and get out of the taxi, going into the apartment building and heading up to his apartment on the top floor. I jiggle the knob just to check, swallowing hard when I find it's open. Why isn't this locked? That's not like him...

I push the door open and go in slowly and quietly, glancing around and looking for any obvious sign of danger... But I don't see anything to indicate a struggle. There's a bowl of water on a coffee table, that's the only thing that immediately strikes me as off.

I go over to it, noting that there are a couple of ice chips floating in it. They aren't that melted, so whoever put it here didn't do so too long ago. In fact, they're probably still here...

"Nyaaah!" I jump at the noise, whirling around and spotting the source on the floor. A small but long little creature- almost like a ferret but with a big, floofy tail and pointed ears. It's brown on top and white underneath with a gold stripe in its middle. I'd be skeptical if not for the big, teal eyes staring up at me.

"... Theodore?" I call, and he quickly nods.

"Nyah!"

I heave a heavy sigh, bending down and picking him up under the arms, then I study his nubby paws tipped in brown and his little teal nose. There are gold tear-drop-esque marks above his eyes that serve as eyebrows, and they've been creased ever since I sighed.

"Oi, Theodore..." I mutter, watching his ears flatten. "What did you do to yourself this time?"

"Mrrr..." He grumbles softly, flicking his tail a bit.

"I don't think he did that to himself." A new voice says, causing me to jump and drop Theodore. He lands on his feet, thankfully, then he trots over to the boy who spoke.

He looks like he's Boa's age, with mussed-up white hair and crimson eyes. His clothes are black and pink, with a red Beyblade logo on his vest. Theodore doesn't seem opposed to his presence, so he must be a Raging Bull.

The boy bends over, carefully lifting Theodore into his arms and standing upright before he addresses me. "After all, he was stuck in his bedroom. If he planned on doing this, he'd have probably opened the door first."

"Good point." I reply, then I tilt my head a bit. "So... You believe that's Theodore, too?"

"It would be stranger if it wasn't him, all things considered." The boy shrugs, then he steps over to me and holds out one hand. "I'm Shu Kurenai, by the way. You must be one of the Bladers from Theodore's second team."
