Chapter 1: All About Wong

"Take it, Deans. You need a break. Alam ko naman hardworking ka, pero kailangan mo din ng pahinga." Bea said.

Bea de Leon, one of my partners dito sa business namin. Pero parang sya yung pinakaboss kahit partners kami kasi she's wise when it comes to decision making but still she always consider our opinions before she decides. And also our go-to person kahit pa sa mga personal naming problema.

"Oo nga naman, Deans. Mag eenjoy ka don. When was the last time ba na nag enjoy ka? Ang tagal na, no! Saka hindi ka lang naman magbabakasyon, work pa rin yon. 3 days lang naman pati. We just have to close the deal then done! Ikaw lang magaling sa atin tatlo when it comes to meeting people. You attract ladies and gents. Haha. Eng pepi me pe." Pangungumbinsi din ni Tots in a nakakadiri way. HAHAHAHAHA

Tots or Diana Mae Carlos, another partner sa business namin. Sya naman yung happy-go-lucky na kaibigan. Kung gusto mo mapatawa sa kanya ka pumunta. She always lightens up the atmosphere.

Anyway, we run a gym. All of us are professional fitness instructors. College buddies kami and we have same interests lalo na keeping our body healthy and fit kaya we decided to open our own gym. We played volleyball din in college kaya physically fit talaga kami. Passion din talaga namin 'to kaya we pursue this kind of business.

I'm the one who actively manage our business, si Tots and Bea naman ay personal trainers. Personal trainer din naman ako kaya lang I don't do it often.

It's actually new. We named it 'Fit Camp'. 2 years pa lang, luckily hindi kami na-lugi. In fact, may mga branches na rin kami around the Philippines and we're planning to expand it around the world. Kaya nga they are pushing me to go to Japan.

Ate Alyssa, Ate Jia and Kuya Miguel are the ones who told us about it nung nakita namin sila minsan. Sayang daw yung gym kasi magsasara na, uuwi na daw ng Pilipinas for good yung may ari. Kaya imi-meet ko sya para makuha yung place at kami na magpatuloy tas irerebrand na lang namin.

They are our seniors ni Bea way back in college. They're into advertising and modelling. They helped us in promoting our gym since mga body conscious din sila, client namin sila. They have lots of connections but still we worked hard to earn this success.

"Kadiri ka, Tots. Haha. Alright, fine. I'll go to Japan. Ako na makikipag meeting. Maybe you're both right." I answered to both of them para tigilan na nila pangungulit.

"Good. Your flight is already booked as well as your hotel room. Everything's already settled. You're leaving this Friday afternoon. Go home and pack your things, Wong. Just enjoy the trip, okay? Kami na bahala ni Tots dito. Thursday na oh." Bea said dismissing our kwentuhan.

"Aalis na din ako. Ikaw na lang bahala dito, Bei. Susunduin ko pa ang aking Mi Amor Celine. Mamaya isama pa yon nila Ate Jia kung saan. Paalam, madlang pipol!" Nagmamadaling sabi ni Tots. Celine is one of the models nila Ate Jia sa company nila at close friend din. Jowa ni Tots. Haha.

"Fine! Bye, Paps! Maghanap ka lovelife habang wala ako ha. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Bigla naman nalungkot mukha nya kaya I ran out of the office agad baka batuhin ako ng kung ano eh.

Eh kasi naman, ang dami dami nagkakagusto sa kanya ayaw pa magjowa. May hinahanap daw sya. Yung childhood friend nya sa Batangas. First love daw nya yon at hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin nya malimutan. Lakas ng tama. Lulu lang daw natatandaan nyang name. Hanggang ngayon hinahanap at hinihintay pa rin nya. Hay nako.

Buti na lang ako hindi pinoproblema lovelife. I always believe that it will come unexpectedly. Di dapat hinahanap o hinihintay. Sabi nga nila fate has its own way.
