Jakes POV
I let go on chance and grab tony off my back and I push him back. I go sit in my spot at the back and put my feet on the desk. I take my jacket off and put it behind me on the chair. Then Erika walks in and looks at me. I smile at her and she goes across the room to go sit with that kid. I get threw science and it's the end of history
Can you meet me at my car at the beginning of lunch?

I fold the little piece of paper up and get up and slowly make my way to Erika who again sat away from me. I stand in front of her desk and I reach my Hand out with the note in it. She slowly takes it out and I walk out the class not caring the bell hasn't gone. I go into the cafe and talk to a couple people. The bell rings and I finish my conversations and then make my way outside. I see Erika in her way there and I take my jacket off. I run to catch up to her and I throw it over her shoulders. We get to the car and I open it and put the heat in and she gets in too.
J- so...I missed you
She nods her head
J- are you good
E- I'm just shocked
J- how has school been
E- alright
J- you and him?
E- no
J- you guys were pretty close
E- once you left I was having a pretty hard time. He was easy to get my mind off of you
J- so there was no kissing?
She looks forward and doesn't answer me. I hit the palm of my hand on the top of the steering wheel
J- so there was
E- a little
J- did you like it
E- No
J- I heard your dad is mad at me
E- more at me
J- just saying it's not your fault me going had nothing to do with you.
E- what was it
J- I wanted to fight him for what he said at a party when you were gone
E- you gotta stop
J- when I first got in there it really did put me in my place. The leader of that block was controlling us all and we really had nothing to do except work out and play cards. I got my ass beat up a couple times from that guy and I realized how other people felt
E- he beat you up?
J- twice. He had someone put something on our trays and I threw it out and he knocked me out. The time before that he just picked on the new guys. He and his group got put into another block so I was the next big guy in there and it became mine. When that block became mine I went back to being that bad kid. So right now I'm a mess. I've got to personality when it comes to different people. Morgan even told me
E- what did Morgan say
J- that around you guys I care and that is true
We sit there is silence till Erika phone gets a message
Erika's POV
I take my phone out of my pocket and read the texts from Patrick.
P- babe where did you go
E- I'm outside
P- it's cold
E- I'm fine I'll be there in a sec
I look at Jake who looks out the window
E- I'm going to head inside
He nods his head and I get out. So does Jake. I make my way inside and I hear Jake
J- I would give my jacket back before your boyfriend sees
I take it off and hold it out. He grabs it and puts it on. He walks the other way and I go into the cafe sitting with everyone
P- where did you go
E- I was talking to someone
S- him
E- yea
R- how did it go
E- okay
We eat our lunch and head to gym. I say goodbye to Patrick and go get changed.
R- what did he say
E- he was just saying how he realized what he was doing and how he got beat up a couple times
S- you gonna break up with Patrick
E- guys we really aren't dating
S- friends with benefits?
E- sure
We go out to the gym to see everyone already in there.
Jakes POV
I slip on black shorts and a blue muscle shirt. We go out to the gym and I talk to chanthony
C- dude that bruise on your arm is still there
J- yeah it's still there did you see what they did to me when they thought I was giving guys tattoos
An- did they ever find out who did it
J- nope
C- at least you get to show off your new muscles
He lifts my shirt up the revel my abs but I push him back.
Te- beep test ladies and gentlemen. Pick who is going first And line up
They get the speaker working and we start. We run back and fourth. About on the fourth round some girls stop. On the tenth round all the guys stop except me and chanthony. The girls finished about on the sixth round. Chanthony drop out on the 11th round. On the 13th round chanthony come up to me while I'm running and starts the push me around. We all start to laugh and I stop and I take my shirt off wiping the sweat off of me. I look around and see everyone looking at me. We leave the gym to go get a drink while the other people are running. We walk around the corner to see Erika standing at the lockers with Patrick standing in front of her. We walk passed them and Chance slaps my neck
J- you gotta stop *laughs*
C- dude it's funny
I slap his neck and then we walk again. I get a hard slap to the back of the neck
J- chance
C- it wasn't me it was tony
An- *smiles*
He turns around and runs. I run after him and the principal stands there
P- boys no running
J- sorry
We go back to gym and just play basketball. The bell rings and we go back to the locker room getting changed. I head to my locker grabbing my bag and I feel a tap on my shoulder
