Jakes POV
It all started in grade 11 when I saw Erika walking through the halls. I first found out her name when I was stocking people in instagram and found her. I didn't have a crush on her until I first asked her to tutor me. Anyways I would see her around and she would smile at me and stuff then at the beginning of grade 12 I sat beside her and immediately fell in love. Then as I would get tutored by her we would always end up talking about ourselves. We became best friends but I wanted to ask her out. Kids at school started to notice her more when I would talk to her at school. So I would make it known that I like her so people can stay away. Then I found the right time on her steps to ask her out. She left for vacation I got in trouble. She came back got in trouble some more. Then we won the championship game. Then got into bigger trouble by going to jail. Made myself a better person. Thought about her all the time. Ran that block with my best friends. I got out came to school to find out the she was "with" someone else. I then got my girl back. Got into agruements with her dad. Then decided to go up north and not tell her. I got hurt from being drunk and high. Helped her with her issues that made us grow even closer. We drifted apart for a bit but it was needed because we spent everyday together after I came back from jail. Went to prom which was so special. We both got accepted into our schools. Now we are taking every moment slowly to soak it all in.
J- in the end things are now perfect...I think
I get up and continue my run. I get back on the trail and run back towards my house. I grab a basketball once I get Home and I shoot around outside. I take my shirt off and throw it on the grass. I keep taking shots then I back up pretty far
E- get it in and I'll give you a kiss
I look back to see Erika leaning in the front of her car. I smile at her and bounce the ball. I shoot and it goes in. I look back at Erika and raise an eyebrow. She pushes herself off and she grabs my forearms. She reaches up and gives me a kiss. I put my hands on her waist
J- what are you doing here
E- I can't visits my boyfriend?
J- *smiles*
E- I actually came to tell you something
J- are you breaking up with me
E- why would I do that when I asked you to never leave me
J- so...is it good?
E- for me yes for you no
J- okay?
E- we decided that it was best for me to live on campus instead of commuting 2 hours everyday
J- oh okay that's great
E- you're not happy with that
J- listen you have to do what's best for you not me
E- but-
J- rik I'm fine this is for you not me
I pull her into a hug. I kiss her head and pull back.
J- I need to take a shower let's go
We head inside after I grab my shirt. We get up into my room and Erika falls back on my bed. I get on top of her and kiss her. I push her hip down. She pushes me off
E- go take a shower
J- you can come with me
E- you can go by yourself
J- I need company
She shakes her head
J- it was worth a shot
I head in the bathroom then get into the shower. I soon get out and walk out with a towel on my waist. I put shorts and a shirt on. I then get out and go to my bed. Erika late there asleep and I smile at her
P- jake
The door opens and my mom stands in the doorway.
P- never mind I'll talk to you later
J- she's asleep go a head
P- Monday of next week we are having dinner with erikas family but I'll tell you the rest later
J- okay?
She shuts the door and I lay beside Erika in my side while she's on her back. I go down and kiss her cheek. She rolls into me and I put my hand under her shirt and rub her back.
J- babe it's only 6:30
E- I'm tired
J- yeah I know but then you won't fall asleep later
She rubs her eyes and moves her head back. She moves the hair out of my face
J- Imma miss you
E- let's not think about that
J- ...we have 3 more days till we are done
She softly pecks my lips
E- *sighs* I should head home
J- *smiles* you come here, tell me bad news and leave
E- *smiles* whatever was I gonna do
J- sleep over
E- can't
J- why
E- homework
J- *smiles* schools over
She gets up
J- rik
E- I'll see you tomorrow
J- *sighs* fine
I get up and we go downstairs. I walk Erika to her car and I open her door. She turns around and gives me a kiss. She gets in and i shut her door I walk backwards and wave as she leaves. I get back Inside and go find my mo
J- what's up
I sit down on the chair
P- well I heard from dan that Erika was going to leave on campus
J- okay?
P- did you get her a gift yet
J- for what
P- graduation
J- I'm supposed to get a gift
P- *smiles* she is your girlfriend
J- okay then I'll get her a gift
P- K let's go
J- now?
P- grads in 3 days
J- fine let's go
