Chapter sixteen

After a few minutes of Y/n and Tim talking the boy next to them woke up with a slight grunt, Y/n looked at Jay with slight worry present in her face, she hoped that Jay wasn't hurt in any way even though she was the one in a hospital bed.
"Hey there sleepy head" said the brunette with a smile on his face, Y/n noticed that Jay had a black eye and imideatly she turned into full mom mode.
"Jay are you alright? Is anything broken? Did Brian hurt you? Oh I swear if he did I'll drop the stone right on his d-"
"I'm alright Y/n" Jay smiled sitting on the chair next to Tim "he didn't really hurt me, it's you we should be worried about there is a possibility that you won't be able to walk for a few weeks" he said looking down at his hands, Y/n only stiffened and Tim shot the baseball cap boy a glare.
"Well you're strong I'm sure you'll be alright in a day or two" Tim said trying to calm down the slightly wide eyed girl in a blue hospital gown.

After a few minutes the awkwardness in the room faded and the trio started laughing and chatting about various things, no-one brought up the operator or any other mood ruining topics and they just enjoyed the little heartwarming moment of friendship. Sadly the visiting hours were over and the two boys were asked to leave by a tall, grey eyed doctor, the boys nodded and left Y/n to rest of course after giving her a small hug. Y/n sighed slightly being lonely with out Jay and Tim, she expected her dad to be here with her keeping her company. Jerry wasn't the best father and deffinetly wouldn't win the "best dad ever" reward, but he still cared about his angel and that's all that mattered to Y/n all that she wanted was her dad's non forced hugs. The girl decided to go to sleep instead of getting depressed about her so called father, she struggled to lay down comfortably because of her leg, but once she was comfy in the shitty hospital bed Y/n looked out the window. The stars were shining by the time she fall asleep. In the blink of an eye the morning came and Y/n was woken up by a nurse bringing her some hospital food, Y/n only took few bites of the soup and took her pills, time went by slowly as she waited and waited for visitors and surprisingly the door to her room opened and in stepped a brunette boy holding her backpack.
"Hiya Y/n brought you some stuff" he smiled as he hugged her lightly afraid of hurting her, after the small cheesy moment they had Tim continued to unzip the backpack and put the contents on Y/n's bed.
"I don't really know if you like to read, but I still brought you a book." He smiled putting a hard cover book in the girls lap.
"You won't believe this, but I'm a total bookworm" Y/n laughed before thanking Tim and continuing making small talk with the lumberjack on the side of her bed.
