In last chapter,the answer was ..it was Kate's necklace that protected her and kate secretly has a mind shield that protects her

I'm now making my chapters less long by putting it in parts but only 2 parts, okay!

Also I know what weapon I'm giving kate but should she get it during season 1 or season 2?

*at the mothership*
Aja was having her first warrior training with Varvatos,vex had his serrator all ready out
Vex chuckled but aja took out her serrator

Then vex charged at aja but she jumped and dodged, vex tried hitting her and actually got a hit
Aja stumbled back and nearly fell off the platform but balanced herself

Vex laughed "Glorious!, Your first day of warrior training and you haven't met a grisly death" he laughed pointing his serrator at her

"You're trying to kill me!?" Aja exclaimed
"If Varvatos were really trying, you would be dead!" Vex exclaimed back

Aja growled and vex tried to hit her but aja dodged and jumped on his back and jumped off
"For Varvatos always wins!"

Vex kept trying to 'kill' aja but she kept dodging
"Attack. Do not merely evade!" Vex told aja

"I'm waiting for an opening" aja said, struggling
"I don't want to-- Ugh!" Aja didn't finish cause vex kicked her and aja nearly fall off the platform but she grabbed onto the edge

Aja finally picked herself up and back into the platform, vex offered her a hand which she took

"Getting hurt is inevitable for a warrior, but if is the fear of injury
That will get you killed" vex told her

"*moans* what did you just do?" Aja asked

"Earthlings call it a 'toe kick', Varvatos learned it from kate while he saw her at the park and Varvatos is a Glorious warrior and executes it perfectly" vex said as he did an example

"Who needs to kick with toes when you have a serrator?" Aja said as she brought out her serrator and charged for vex but he countered it with a toe-kick, aja fell onto the floor
"Not fair" she complained as vex chuckled and vex nearly slayed her....

*at Stuart's electronica*
At Stuart's electronica store was stuart, krel, the dadblank and kate

Kate was there cause she thought she was helping krel with a science project
Krel reached gently for the plutonium fuel cell, he grabbed it while stuart was chanting "gently"

Kate just watched,well, stared at krel
Krel was about to put it in the briefcase when the dadblank popped out of nowhere
"Easy! Make life easy, even when you're feeling-" the blank popped out, making everyone jump including kate and she snapped back to reality

"Quiet, both of you, I am just trying to get the plutonium fuel cell for the Daxial Array, not disarm a bomb" krel scold them and put the fuel cell into the briefcase and gave it to the blank

"Hey! I had to trade a physicist in Tijuana 200 crestons for that, promised to cater his niece's quinceañera" Stuart complained

"Stuart, I'm gonna be honest, I have no idea on earth what you're talking about" Kate admitted sliding down a banister, krel chuckled at her

"So krel, this is for a science project?" Kate asked while blushing and rubbing the back of her neck, awkwardly

"Uh..y-yes,it is for a science project" krel lied not wanting kate to find out

Kate, krel and the blank exited Stuart's place "Okay, we got the first part from the zerons," krel whispered to the blank so kate doesn't hear

What they didn't is that a bird-like bounty Hunter was pointing their weapon at them and it's target was locked on krel
