Ugh. Who else loathes school? Warning: suicidal episode

Jimin stifles in another choked blubber before blowing his nose with the front of his veil. Jungkook made a disgusted noise from behind him.

The vampire turns his gleaming red eyes at him and watches in embarrassment as the werewolf rose a brow. "I'm sorry." He mutters weakly.

Jungkook couldn't take the pitiful looking boy anymore and turned away from him.

They made it to the edge of a cliff that overlooked stunning glowing waterfalls. The water shined with colors of indigo and electric blue that lit up with dazzling white any time movement was made. Jimin's veil reflected the blooming colors of the falling water so vividly, it made it seem like it was painted on.

"What is this place?" He asks in a nasally voice, probably caused by all the crying he had unleashed a moment ago.

"This is called the Night Falls. It's where people go to burn their tears or burn a body." The wolf replies darkly.

When Jimin glances up at Jungkook, he could see the grave look in his jet black stare. They burned the beautiful water like it was the evilest being.

"Burn tears and bodies? How is-"

"The water is poisonous and toxic. It was left from the wars long ago." His answer startled Jimin as far away from the edge as possible.

Jungkook continued talking; not noticing the way the prince's breaths were labored from the scare and never taking his eyes off the water. "The saying that it burns tears is just a cover-up for the more sinister thing that it was used for."

His violet shining eyes finally focused onto Jimin, a sly smirk played at his lips when he saw him trembling. "It was used to get rid of vampires in the olden days, but now it's guarded away by the fence over there," He pointed to the electric fence on the other side.

"Don't be too afraid, Your Highness. I didn't take you here to assassinate you," Once again Jungkook schooled his face into a blank canvas as he bent to where Jimin sat on the ground. "I just came here to calm your mind."

Cautiously, the long-haired man stretched his palm to him but Jimin winced back. Jungkook didn't stop until he had his injured hand in his palm. His long rough fingers touched the bare skin on his wrists that was starting to show an angry red.

Jungkook's guarded face falls the tiniest bit at the prints along Jimin's honey-toned skin. "I'm truly sorry. That was unnecessary and barbaric." A genuine chuckle escapes his lips, drawing the royal's eyes back to him.

His wavy unruly hair blows in the icy breeze that comes from the snow-covered mountains. It pulls the curtain of silk out and reveals a kind smile.

It's gorgeous, Jimin marvels at the strange sight.

"My point in bringing you here is to make you understand. My kind has always felt a certain way towards your kind for a long while, me especially." Jungkook's smile disappears altogether before he lets go of Jimin's wrist softly.

Before Jungkook can pull back all the way; before he puts up that cold unwelcoming front, Jimin grabs onto his index finger.

He didn't know what he was doing, but he did know one thing: he wanted to see that smile at least once more.

Softly, the smaller male spoke. "It's about your mother, right?"

Jungkook snapped his eyes onto Jimin's unshielded face. The burning that he felt as the other watched him made him want to retract his question, but Jimin felt stubborn.

Why? Why was he the one getting blamed for something he had no control over?

Jungkook feels frozen in his hold yet he still dares to speak. "What happened to her was unspeakable, Jungkook. But I need to tell you something before you make me out to be the monster."
