July, 22. 9:45 AM

"Shit!" Yuki whispered as she crashed into one of the passerbys. "Sorry!" She exclaimed. "Yeah, watch where you're going!" She looked behind and found that the guy's glasses were thrown across the floor.

"No need to make a big deal of it, asshole," she whispered the last part as she picked the glasses up and handed them to him.

She got a good look at his face as he took the item from her hands.

He had dark hair that fell into his eyes as he looked down at her. His doe eyes were big and brown as they settled on hers. He had doll lips with a more plump bottom lip.

His slightly crooked teeth added to the cheeky shade of his eyes. He looked younger than her and, well, more handsome.

"I appreciate girls staring, but I got a flight to catch up." His voice was smooth, though it was enough to snap Yuki from her daze.

"You think too much of yourself." She rolled her eyes and flipped her short, brown hair as she walked away from him. However, she started running soon.

The boy stared at her back as she disappeared in the crowd. He had his flight in hours-in fact, he was really early.

He had accompanied a friend to the airport.

He just left him to buy some Starbucks-when he bumped into the girl-and return back to bid his goodbyes as that friend was leaving in a few minutes.

Yuki panted with her hands on her knees for a good two minutes, then straightened up and flicked her brother's head.

"Have you ever heard of airplanes that fly at night?" Yuki asked rhetorically. "I wanted to spend the day from its beginning with eomma, noona! You know it's only two weeks!" Her brother, Mingyu, tried explaining himself.

"You know how much I hate morning flights and getting up early. Next time, I'm the one who's booking the tickets, asshole," Yuki spat.

Little did she know that it would be the last time for her to travel in flying machines.

"By the way, who's the guy?" Yuki looked over at Mingyu, just to catch the little smirk playing at his lips as he played on his phone-pretending to be absentminded.

Yuki rolled her eyes.

"Ugh, you're just like mom; and you're all nuts! Stop worrying about my love life. What part of 'I'm not marrying until I'm thirty' do you not understand, asshole?" Yuki spat.

"All of us become assholes once you wake up early-" he was cut off by his sister's urgent question.

"Mingyu, what's the gate number?"

Mingyu proceeded to fish their passports out of his bag.

"10, why?" He said.

"Yeah? Well, they're closing, dumbass." Mingyu's eyes widened at her words, and his head snapped up.

"Shit!" Mingyu cursing was muffled as he held a passport between his teeth. His sister grabbed his wrist, both of them running like idiots.

They were standing in line for gate 9.

He must've confused lines since they were next to each other. Moreover, Mingyu hadn't paid much attention to the name of the city gate 9's plane was heading.

Yuki had let go of his wrist and skipped ahead.

Mingyu fumbled with the passports and his bag as he watched his sister trying to explain their situation to a uniformed woman beside the gate.

"You have to understand. We just mistook gates," Yuki explained.

"I'm sorry, miss, but there's nothing we can do. The plane is already in takeoff." The woman shook her head.

"What are we supposed to do now? Go home?" Yuki clenched her fists as she tried to appear calm.

"If you want, I can try finding you seats in another flight to Daegu," She said as she took a seat behind a small desk with a computer on it.

"Any time soon would be great, if you please." Yuki forced a smile as she stared at the woman's fingers typing on the keyboard.

"You can take a seat nearby until I find one," she said, her eyes on the screen.

"Two, please. I'm traveling with my brother," Yuki told her.

"May I see your tickets?" The woman asked.

Yuki looked at Mingyu as he fished them out of his pockets and handed them to her.

She nodded and typed the information in.
