EIGHT DAYS LATER

"So you mean to tell me, you haven't slept with him yet?" Dream asked as we entered the small diner down the street. I nodded my head agreeing then waving down to the server who told us to grab a seat. To say me and Nasir was taking it slow was an understatement. We chilled a few times here and there since he spent the night at my house but he hadn't made the move to go any further than that night. Not that I was really complaining but it only had me wanting him more. I grabbed the menu off the table scanning the items wondering how hungry was I really. "You threw pussy at him and he didn't take it? Boy must be tripping." she laughed grabbing her menu doing the same. I wasn't really expecting her to understand since her and Makai been humping like a bunch of horny rabbits, but I was kinda jealous.

"Well look, we all can't be you and Kai. He probably has other things on his mind beside sex." I hoped. I mean I couldn't see him not wanting to sleep with me, I mean he did get hard that night. But then again he didn't sleep with me either? Was it because I feened out? "Stop that! You're overthinking again." she giggled tapping my hand. Tabitha understood I had the ability to lose my train of thought and immediately go off the rails. That's why I loved her. We clicked instantly. "You're right! Plus, if he didn't he wouldn't still hit me up everyday." a slight smile appearing on my face. He had the ability to send butterflies to my stomach without even doing anything. A simple text would have me smiling for at least an hour or two before I calmed down.  "Look at you, this crush something serious." she teased shooing her away. Our waiter finally arrived pouring us two cups of water into the empty glasses that sat on the table, before taking down our orders.  "I'll have it out soon enough, be right back." she announced heading back towards the kitchen.

As Dream and I sat discussing our week, the sound of the bell from the front door jingled letting us know someone else had entered the diner as well. I turned my head a bit seeing the same girl Yasmin who Nasir was posted up with that night at the club. She had entered with two other girls before they decided to take a seat at the bar a few seats away from us. Yasmin was a pretty girl, I couldn't lie but I couldn't help but feel jealous of her and whatever she had with Nasir. Dream started to notice my sudden discomfort and tried to sway me to look away from the group, but I couldn't. Especially now when I overheard his name. "Yes girl, he slept over two nights ago. Felt bad he ran late for our date so of course he bought me a little something." she smiled twirling around the expensive bag in her hand. "Girl you love you some Shootah. Ain't he messing with that Samah girl.." her friend joked causing Yasmin to roll her eyes before taking more interest in her manicure. "It's Samaria, and I already asked him about it and he said it won't serious." she stated before our same waitress came over interrupting their conversation completely.

I whipped my head around sipping down on my drink trying to process my thoughts. "Breathe Sam." Dream whispered grabbing onto my arm. I couldn't help but nod off her words because I felt nothing but played. He had some nerve. He persuaded me, not the other way around. Not to mention when I asked him about Yasmin, he brushed her off. But I can see why, he wanted his cake and eat it too. At this point my blood was boiling but again I couldn't be mad, he wasn't my man. He didn't own me any loyalty. "You wanna head out of here?" she asked me in which I brushed it off, "No I'm good. Shootah who?" I joked just as our food came out. He wanted a game huh? Well he can get it.
