mei woke up to a bright light blinding her.

i-i'm in the hospital???
i didnt get the surgery right?

mei panicked knowing if she had the surgery nothing but pure hatred would fill her heart when she was around renjun.

"yuta?" mei shook him a little in hopes to waking him up.

"mei! you're awake thank god!" yuta smiled.
however mei's eyes were only glistening with tears.

"whats wrong mi?"

mei took a deep breath.
"i didnt get the surgery, right?"

yuta inhaled.
"no, although the doctor suggested it i knew you would be against the idea.
so i said no."

yuta continued once again.
"but i dont want you to die like mom." yuta mumbled the last part.

"like mom? but didnt she have cancer?"

"mei, its time i tell you. mom died because of the hanahaki disease,"

"dad had cheated on her but mom still loved dad so much that she gave him another chance. all she got out of that was coughing flowers."

"she used to cough cherry blossoms like you."

"mom never wanted to get the surgery. she didnt want to lose feelings. but she ended up underground."

"i dont want to lose you mei, please understand." yuta started sobbing.

"yuta, even if i dont make it out alive i'll always be in your heart."

"but i cant be selfish. i cant be that selfish."

"i love him way too much, i cant be selfish enough to hate him."

"so please, if i dont make it out alive keep a promise for me."

"bring a flower to my grave everyday, dont leave me alone."

mei started crying along side with yuta.

"mei, you will make it. you are such a strong girl, you will make it. i promise to never leave you alone."

mei smiled.

3 hours later mei was finally discharged out of the hospital.

as soon as they entered their car to return home momo called.

"oh! momos calling!" yuta smiled.

and this happened as soon as yuta opened the phone.

"yaH YuTAAAAAAAAAA! YOU CANT TAKE CARe OOf MEi fOr GODS SAKE!!!"
mei started laughing.

"meIIII ARE YOU OK MY BABIE IS HE TAKING CARE OF YOU WELL?"

"yes im fine, no need to worry. he's taking care of me very well dont worry. how's japan?"
