"Hey honey", Dallas says shaking Nani awake
"Yes Dallas?", She sighs sitting up only
to regret it when her lower body protested immenselyIt was the morning after her night with Eris and she couldn't even look her husband in the face without realizing what a bad person she was.
The fact that she didn't regret it only made her feel worse.
"Help me fix my tie, will you? Your father and I are going out for breakfast", he says looking down at her
She pushes through and climbs out of bed, but can't help the groan of protest that escapes her mouth when the soreness hits her.
"What's wrong honey? Are you not well?", He says scrambling to help her
"I am fine Dallas. Do not worry yourself. All is well", she says smiling at the memories of the night before
All was definitely well.
"Well I'll be out all day. Your father said that God must take up all my time until I am ready to speak the word of the lord.", Dallas rambles telling her all about his time with her father while she fixes his tie
"Wait what! Speak the word of the Lord?", Nani questions stopping him right there
"Oh didn't I tell you. Your father wants me to take over the church someday. I'm hoping to be just like him", Dallas says causing her to freeze up
So he wanted to be
-manipulative
-abusive
-Narcissistic
- and most of all one day he wanted to do to his daughter what her father did to her"I will never stay with a man that acts like my father", she blurts out before she can stop herself
"Your father is a God fearing man", Dallas defends glaring at her
"You know what Dallas. Go to breakfast with my father. Become him, but know that I could never love a man who becomes the carbon copy of that 'God fearing man' ", she says harshly, tightening his tie more than she should have before storming out of the room
'I need to see Eris"
