Three Weeks passed, with Nani avoiding Dallas like the plague to avoid getting hit on, caring for Neriah, and looking across the fence wishing Eris would only come back.
"Sissy are you okay?", Neriah asks rubbing Nani's back as she threw up in the toilet
"I'm fine Neriah", Nani says gagging
"Get Dallas?", Neriah asks concerned
"No. I'm fine I promise", Nani says getting up on shakey legs
"Please do not ever go around Dallas when I'm not around", Nani says reaching for her toothbrush
Neriah nods watching her big sister brush her teeth.
She noticed her big sister looked sad. She wanted to make it better. She really did.
"Sissy are you sure your okay?", Neriah asks shyly with teary eyes
"I will be", Nani says knowing that after she confessed God will make everything okay
"Okay sissy", Neriah says wiping her eyes with her sleeve
"Let's go.", Nani says taking her sisters hand and leading them back to the room
Nani grabs her phone and sees that her period is late for the third day this week. She knows what this means, but refused to accept the fact that she may be pregnant with Dallas' spawn.
"God please. It's now or never. I'm losing faith. I just need a little hope", Nani prays taking out the pregancy test that predicts the weeks of conception.
She takes the test and waits in tears for five minutes before looking at the weeks. Six plus weeks.
Tears of joy falls from her eyes knowing it could on be Eris' baby.
"Thank you Lord. Thank you so much", she says finally breathing out a breath of Relief
She was definitely coming clean today.
She grabs Neriah from her room and together the go to the kitchen only to see Dallas over his bible looking dead at them.
"What are you doing", Nani says staring at him
"Waiting for my wife to come down and start dinner", he says not looking away from her eyes with a lust filled gazes
"Right away. May you invite my father. I have some big news", she says feigning submission
"Come sit Neriah", Nani says pulling out a stool for her
"I will. I'm excited for this news", Dallas says coming over to kiss her forehead
She shivers in disgust, and starts dinner with a small smile knowing it would either all fall apart or finally come together.
