Ana's P.O.V

My mom always wakes me up at the crack of dawn to go for a morning walk."It's good exercise," she would say. Today, however, I don't feel like exercising. You see today I will be starting first grade at a new school. We had just moved from Florida to California a week ago. If I told you that I was excited I would be lying. My stomach is in knots and I really feel like if I walk today I might faint.

"Mommy, would it be okay if I skip our walk today?" I ask giving my best puppy dog face.

"Aww don't worry honey your going to be fine, but you can skip today because I know your nervous."

Yessss puppy dog face works every time. I still have a baby face. My hair is mostly dual brown with blonde highlights. My eyes are too big for my face and a light blue color. I'm also super short even for my age, so I see were people might think I'm cute. I like to think I'm mature for my age, but to be honest I'm really childish. Which is weird because I don't really get along with kids my age.

I got out of bed quickly and took a shower. When I was finished I put on my school uniform. It consists of a long navy blue skirt, which I'm practically drowning in, and a white button down t-shirt that I wear tucked under.

My mom drives me to school. As the trees fly by and we get closer to our destination I get more and more nervous. Will the kids like me, will this year be difficult for me? All these questions keep repeating in my head over and over again until finally we pull into the parking lot of my new elementary school.

The building is a lot bigger than I expected. The bricks of the building are mostly a blue color except for a few gray areas from aging. I see kids running into the school, yelling and throwing their hands in the air excitedly.

My mom bends down pulling me into a hug, and kissing my temple. "Have a good day honey. Make lots of new friend!"

I take a deep breath and walk slowly toward the entrance of the school. Here goes nothing.

Liam's P.O.V

My whole life I've always gotten what I wanted. No one has ever questioned my intentions or fought me on anything. When it comes to the thing I want the most, no one can give it to me.

I turned sixteen about four months
ago, and I have yet to find my other half, my mate. Ever since my sixteenth birthday me, and my new found wolf have realized how fake everyone around me is. My teachers always give me high grades even if my work makes no sense. Sometime I put random things in my essays to see if my teachers will point it out. It never happens, I always get an A. My friends are always really phony, almost as if they feel the need to impress me or something. Even my parents sometimes treat me differently.

"If we had our mate we wouldn't have this problem," my wolf, James said.

"I know James," I sigh hoping we find her soon.
