    The glares and looks 
    she received 
    enough for her insecurities 
    to rise 
    
                          
    shunned for how her 
    body is shaped 
    her skinniness showing 
    sticking out like a sore thumb 
    
                          
    Sticking to herself 
    the voices being her only friends
    
                          
    successful she is 
    end of the day 
    all she cares about 
    though the looks 
    and words hurt like knives 
    she lives through
