    These thoughts
    are not my own
    spawn of the devil they are 
    
                          
    trying to drag me down 
    but damn how right they are 
    offering me security 
    and no physical harm 
    
                          
    Realizing the words they speak 
    are all true 
    and people's are just a lie blanketed 
    with the form of the truth 
    
                          
    Can't help but accept 
    and down I plunge 
    off the ground 
    and underneath I go 
    
                          
    these thoughts 
    are not my own
