I'm actually surprised that he went for Japanese food. I thought he'd go for Italian or something that was deep fried.
"Its been a while huh?" He said. "Yeah. Two weeks I think?" I said. "Two weeks..." he said, nodding his head with a smile. "So, how's school?" He brought out another question. "Same as usual... just more boring." I replied. "Why?" He asked.
"Because you're not there." I said very softly, looking away from his eyes.
"I'm sorry D." He apologised. "Don't be. I'd rather you stay back home and recover quickly than coming to school and slowing down your recovery time." I said. "Yeah... you're right." He gave in.
"How are you, Damian... you feeling okay?" He asked, putting his elbows on the table. "I'm alright. Really. Just tired." I replied. "Oh... Why is that?" He asked.
"Patrolling? Missions? School responsibilities? I had to cover your patrol time too. It's two times of a job for me. But it's ok, nothing I couldn't handle. I said.
"Why didn't you tell me?" He demanded. "And then what? I drag you out of bed to patrol with me just because I felt lonely and tired? Forget it. I know I'm a selfish person but I also know the limits of being one." I stated. He took my hand and lightly stroke my fingers with his thumb.
"Thank you..." he said. "I'll make it up to you. Promise." He continued. "I'll keep that in mind." I said.
"Hey, I want to ask you, something." He ask, sounded concerned. "What is it?" I wait.
"Has Mr Bruce... found out about, us...? Or anyone in your family?" He asked.
"Us, as in..." I hinted. "Yes." He replied. I began thinking on my suspicions.
"I don't think so... or maybe I don't know." I said first. "See, I can't tell actually. Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. But if there's one thing I learnt about him is to not underestimate the Batman or Bruce Wayne." I said. "Yeah that's true." He sighed, looking at table. "Wh---
"Okay boys." Linda suddenly appeared, causing a pause in our conversation.
"Here's your cola, and hot green tea." She said, placing our drinks in front of us. "And here's your complimentary slice of chocolate and red velvet cake. Your food will be here momentarily. Enjoy!" She bowed before leaving.
"Complimentary cakes?" Jon raised an eyebrow. "Oh yeah. Every customer gets a complimentary something, when they dine here. I received ice cream on my last trip. I almost forgotten about that." I scratch the back of my head.
"Oh okay then. Which one do you want?" He asked. "Either one will do." I insisted. "Okay, I'll take the red velvet, and you the chocolate." He said, pushing the slice of chocolate cake towards me.
"Oh... you were saying something before we got interrupted?" He reminded me. "Right... uh, why the sudden question about our parents?" I ask, partaking a small piece of cake.
He sigh. "I dont know... I feel bad, that I have to hide something that brings me joy and happiness away from them." He said, using a fork to play with his cake.
"I understand that you and parents have a really close relationship... and you hate to keep secrets from them. But think of the consequences if you tell them. Will they even accept us?" I asked.
He didn't respond.
"If they don't? What happens then? Will we get to see each other again?" I continue.
"I don't know." He said in a soft sad voice. "Look... eventually someday, they're going to know about us. And when that time comes, we'll see then. For now, let's just enjoy the times we have together, okay?" I said. "Make all these times together precious... you'll never know when something's gonna separate us." I said sadly, remembering Jon's hospital days.
He look up to me with his sad navy blue eyes. "I'll treasure all those times we've spent together and are going to spend." He said, tears welling up in his eyes.

Meanwhile...
Out in Space, Watch Tower

"Anything?" The Amazon Princess questioned Cyborg who was meddling with the system.
"I have no idea who or what's causing this but it's targeting certain cities and I'm trying to find out which." Cyborg replied Wonder Woman, sounding exhausted.
"Herah... we should call Aquaman." She suggested.
"Already did. He's on the way as we speak." Hawkgirl spoke out of the blue, flying towards them.
"I think we better tell Aquaman and the other Atlantians to head to these cities. There's no time to waste!" Cyborg panic.
"Victor, calm down. Tell us what's happening." Batman stood into the circle. "Its hard to tell but here what I've got so far."
Cyborg turn to face the League. "Someone or something, is creating a fake Tsunami to attack certain cities! I don't know who or what or why..." he stopped.
"Tsunami? How big would you say it's going be?" Batman asked.
"Big enough to drown the Eifel Tower...." Cyborg feared.
"Herah.... we must evacuate the citizens at ones!" Wonder Woman commanded. "But which city should we start?" Hawkgirl questioned the Princess.
"Cities Confirmed!" The computer voiced out.
"Ok, I got the locations." Cyborg meddling with the computer. "These are the three cities the tsunami is about to attack." Cyborg turn to show the League a live size hologram of the targeted cities.
"This is bad." The Flash pointed out. "Central City, Starling City and Metropolis." Batman pace back and forth and stopped.
"Oh no... we gotta go now! NOW!" Batman snapped in horror.
"Whoa Bruce, what's the matter?." Hawkgirl said.
"NO... Damian's in Metropolis! Someone inform Superman now! GO!" Batman rushed away.
"Calling all Justice League members!! I need every single one of you to evacuate the citizens in Starling, Central and Metropolis City now... as fast as possible! NOW!" Wonder Woman ordered through a speaker. "Prepare all the javelin, we're gonna need it! And also inform the heroes in Earth about this!" The Princess commanded Cyborg.
"Got it!" Cyborg replied before taking off.

Back in Metropolis

"Come on Smallvile, I need that report in another minute or Sherly's gonna go all nuts about it." Lois pressured her husband.
"I'm on it, I'm on it." Superman said, typing as fast he can. ---phone ringing--- "It's Diana." Superman said, looking at his phone. "I'll answer it. You keep working." Lois said, answering his phone.
"Hello?" Lois answered. "Lois?" Wonder Woman asked. "Yup, hey Diana." Lois said.
"Wheres Clark?" The Princess asked. "He's right infront of me... he's busy at-- "Lois, I need you to listen. A tsunami is going to hit Metropolis anytime now!!" Wonder Woman got right to the point.
"WHAT?!" Both Lois and Clark shook. "Tell Clark to help wherever he can! We don't have much time! The tsunami is no ordinary height!" Wonder Woman said. Lois couldn't find her words to speak. But she manages to pull herself together because she remembered someone important.
"Jon..." she dropped the phone. "Clark!! JON!!!! YOU NEED TO GET HIM! NOW!" Lois panic.

Back in the Taste of the World.

"You know, this ramen actually taste, really good.. I'm not even kidding." I said, while chewing.
"Good... so do you think you could eat it a little faster?" Damian asked. "What's the rus-- I instantly stopped talking when I felt vibrations under my legs.
"Did you felt that?" I asked him, scared.
Yes.... I think I did." He replied, looking at me with his eyes widened. Soon, the table along with the things on it, and everything else in the restaurant started shaking vigorously.
"Damian???? What's happening?!" I started to panic, as I stood up. "Is it an earthquake?!" He got up and ran towards a window to see what's happening.
Screams and panics from the people soon filled the atmosphere. I started scanning the area for any signs of dangers with my vision. Something, big, is approaching the restaurant.
"DAMIAN!!!! TSUNAMI!!!"
