Hawaii, Kauai Island
A further mile away from the shores

Usually, when someone survives a tsunami attack, they'd be afraid of going back into the water and even stepping foot at the beach. But apparently, I'm not one of them. Could it because I'm not traumatized by human deaths or am I just like that?
I don't know.
I've been snorkeling around a small hideout further away from the crowd, for nearly two hours now.I have to admit that I may have swum out a little too far for which the water depth is pretty deep down... but I guess there's nothing to worry because it's actually really peaceful.
The waters crystal clear here, which makes it so clear for me to see the lives under the sea. There are tiny shellfishes for which I've never seen before, wild corals with multiple colors, fishes swimming all over me, and many more.
I really wish I had my phone right now. The whole scenery is just begging for a picture to be taken.
I took a deep breath and dive down deeper towards the seabed. It took a little more effort because my body kept floating back up but eventually I manage to grab a huge rock as a weight to hold me down.
Now, I can see so much more. Like how there are eels lurking around the corals, octopus camouflaging with the sea reef, lionfish preying on a crab, and many more.
