"The Science of Love"

I know it isn't just mere physicality

I can feel our chemistry

As brought by this tingling reaction

That has me set in wonderful motion,

Gravitating me to you

No matter where you go

This is more than just hormones

More than any charges in my protons or electrons

That each of my body's particle

Or even my cells can very much feel

Your presence,

I'm overwhelmed by its essence,

Is like an unyielding force

that navigates me to your course

I am drawn to your soul

As the magnet is attracted to its opposite pole

It's beauty shining magnificently,

Illuminated vividly

By the pureness of your heart;

thus you're my other significant part

You are my heart's momentum,

Indivisible even by a septum

I don't want to live a life without you

For that would only mean sorrow

And try as much as I want to determine,

Even examine,

the depth or extent of my feelings

But this is one of those mysterious things

That which even Science can't define
