As a magician/witch/sorceress (she is fine with any term), Aurelia has always considered herself to be strong, not just magically but also physically. But whenever she sees Dick or Donna or even Garth; all of them are way stronger than her. Magically, she might be dominating but physically in comparison to the other sidekicks, she is still weak. Although Clara will disagree. But seeing as how she has fought alongside Batman and the rest of the Justice League for a long time, she's been trained to handle a lot of physical blows.

Unlike Aurelia who could barely land an actual punch on a criminal (burning them with magical fire was just easier), Clara can kick butts physically and magically, which is why she is the hero and Aurelia's just a sidekick.

But Aurelia is special in her own way. Even if she herself might not believe, Clara is constantly telling her this (and the Justice League too; Donna's told her about the many times her aunt has been bragging about her to Diana and the rest of the Justice League). But the dreams of Lumen still remain a bone of contention between the aunt-niece duo.

Aurelia thinks her dreams are trying to convey to her a message; a message about someone important (the little girl with the blue streaked hair - who is she?) or future events. They mainly revolve around this girl or a strange orange cloud; both of which seem to be a hint to some sort of event in the future or the present, she doesn't know. She and Clara have had multiple arguments on this; Clara feels dream magic is a flimsy art, that it shouldn't even be considered magic. Then again, Aurelia considers love magic to be the same, so you could call them even. But their situations are different.
