Darkness was all i saw and then a sudden flash of light. "Welcome home Y/n" i turned to see Amenadiel in his grey robe standing there arms crossed. "Where am i" i said looking around at the white space around us. "You're home Y/n, welcome to the Silver city" Amen replied raising his arms. "I died last night, didn't i" i said as i lowered myself onto the floor sit down. Slowly bringing my knees up to my chest. "No you're not dead" an unfamiliar female voice said from behind me. "I mean i would know, considering im the angel of death" i turned to see a woman with all black robes and eyeliner standing there. "You're Azreal" i said as i slowly picked myself up from the floor. "Yes i am" she said as she pulled me into a hug. "Ahhhh what are you doing, please stop" i said as i pushed her off. "Amenadiel why am i here, i should be back on earth with everyone else i've been gone for too long so please take me back" i said. "I can't do that, father has seen your interactions with the humans and has deemed it a risk for you to stay on earth" he says hopeful that I understand. "No no no I'm not staying here, take me home (country roads)" I shout as I take a step towards him. Amenadiel puts his hand up telling me to calm down "I'm sorry Y/n I can't do that". "I'm not asking, take me home Amenadiel" I growled taking a step toward him. My eyes flickering red in anger. "Y/n please try and see the positive in this, you will no longer suffer" he said with a smile. "Take me back to earth or take me to hell" I said as turned my back to him. "Why would you want to go back" Amenadiel whispered to me. "BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE EL" I shouted in anger. Amen stepped backwards quickly. I saw an object in the corner of my eye. I turn to see my wings moving with every breath I take. I smiled widely at the sight of them. "Fine I'll do it myself" I said to myself as I took a few steps back to give myself a running start. "Y/n No don't" I heard Amen yell as I took off throwing him backwards with the force. Azreal was no where to be seen. Whooooooooooooooooosh time skip
I landed in the backyard to my house assuming that they somebody would be here. I peeked in through my bed room window and could see El sitting on my bed hugging Hopper and Ms.Byers for comfort. The sight was heartbreaking to say the least. I thought of how I would walk into the house but I felt the best thing to do would be to walk through the front door. I opened the door and was met with... No one to my surprise. I slowly walked through the house seeing Max and Lucas sleeping on the couch, while Mike,Will, and Dustin were asleep on the floor. Steve and Robin were asleep at the kitchen table. Nancy and Jonathan were no where to be seen. I entered my bedroom the backs of El, Hopper and Joyce facing me. I thought about what I was gonna say for a couple seconds before I started singing softly "Every breath you take every move you make every bond you break every step you take I'll be watching you". El and Hop turned slowly towards me standing nervously in the doorway. Joyce covered her mouth as she smiled at me. To my surprise the adults were the first to get up and rush me. They pulled me into a hug Hopper lifting both Joyce and I off the ground slightly. "Holy shit kid i thought you were dead" he said quickly. He put me down and grabbed my shoulders and started to examine me. "Are you ok what happened, your uncle said he had to take you, where did you go" Joyce asked quickly. "Hop Joyce.... I will answer your questions later" I brushed his hands off and grabbed their shoulders smiling lightly at them. I peaked around the two and could see El standing there in shock. I had thought of everything I wanted to say but when our eyes met I couldn't remember an ounce of it. I walked around Hopper and pulled her into a hug squeezing her tightly. Not a single word was traded between us, we just stood there in each other's arms. I felt another pair of arms wrap around us, then another and even more. It was the rest of the party. We all broke from the hug, all eyes on me. "You all have questions I assume" time skip because I'm lazy and tired it's been 3 months but you know Hoppers alive soooo the Byers family never move away
"Wow Hopper you look nice" I joked as we got in the car to pick up Joyce for his date. (He's wearing his shirt from season three but a new one)"Yeah haha laugh it up kid" he mumbled as he checked himself in the car mirror again. "No I'm..Im being serious Jim, you look nice Joyce is gonna love it" I reassured him while putting a hand on his shoulder. "Thanks kid" he said quietly while starting the car. Hopper drove the car away from the cabin I had had a couple people who owed me favors fix up. We drove over to Enzo's, i sat there listening to how Lucifer appeared out of nowhere when he was fighting the russian in the underground base (bite me i'm lazy)  Hopper was really nervous and it was showing, I on the other hand was keeping it to myself. This was my first date with someone I actually cared about, all the other ones were just ladies I had no interest in. "Hey kid... you alright" Hopper said slightly smacking my chest pulling my attention to him. I looked around and noticed we were parked in front of Enzo's. "Uhh yeah Hop I'm fine" I said quickly looking at the sign to the restaurant. "You can fight a monster from another plane of existence without batting an eye, but going on a date with my daughter scares you" he joked as we exited the car and made our way into the building. We got our seats close to each other but not too close, so that he can keep an eye on El and I. The bell to the door rung out signaling that the ladies were here. Hop and I looked at one another fear obvious on both of our faces. We frantically stood from our seats and made our way to greet our dates. El walked in first her hair down bouncing with every step she took, she was wearing a pink dress very similar to the one she wore the 3 years ago. I just stared at her and smiled I could swear she was walking in slow motion. Joyce walked in seconds later wearing a black dress with her hair up in a bun. Hop and I stumbled over ourselves as we walked up to Joyce and El. Joyce smiled at the sight of Hop and I standing there awkwardly. Joyce smiled at me and then took Hoppers hand. He led her to their table, pulling her chair out for her and then pushing it in. El walked up to me smiling brightly, and grabbed the sides of my face "Hi" she said quietly. "Shall we my lady" i said with a big smile as i put my arm out im front of me for her to grab. We walked side by side to the table, i broke free and pulled her chair out and pushed it in when she sat down. I sat down across from her smiling the entire time. "You look beautiful El" i said to her as she grabbed my hand. A piano started playing and everyone turned to look at where it was coming from. A man in a three piece suit sitting at the piano. He glanced backwards and winked at me and El. "Is that your dad" El asked confused. I just nodded slowly at her. Lucifer started playing "Your song" by Elton John (who Lucifer apparently taught how to play piano).......... A/n Hello people so i just wanted to say thank you for reading this book.
