Smaller, slimmer, more beautiful !
It was society who demanded it
So she listened
She would make herself beautiful
Just .. a simple diet
How hard could it be?
No more candy
And it worked
No more soda's
Easy
No more fat
Finally she fitted into the clothes of her smaller sister
No more sugar
Look at her getting thin !
Just .. no more food
Look society ! Look !
Is what she thought
I'm becoming beautiful !

The evil that was her body
If she could she'd trade it in
But this also worked !
She started out simple
Just .. keeping track
Track of her daily intake
She didn't really need that much !
Track of her daily burning
She found a better route to school
Track of her daily weight
She didn't want to see the number, but she had to !
Track of her everything
Writing it down, making improvements
And it worked !
Just .. a little more
Look society ! Look !
Is what she thought

She'd tell herself
Pushing through every day
I'm almost there
Her body was starting to give up
Just .. tired
Tired after a full night of sleep
It'll get better
Tired after walking to school
Finally she saw the building rising up along the skyline
Tired after taking the stairs
People pushed past her, annoyed because she wasn't fast enough
Tired after living for 15 years
But look at her ribs !
Just .. tired
Look society ! Look !
Is what she thought
I'm becoming beautiful !

Is what they said
But she just couldn't
Afraid of what society would say
Destroyed by other people's words she gave up.
They found her limp body hiding by the lake, just a skeleton with pale, thin skin.
But a small smile still graced her lips.
As if to say:
Look society ! Look !
I'm beautiful now !
