Moving closer to you

Colby POV

He's really leaving me and I can't do anything about it. My bestfriend since freshman year is leaving me. I wish he would just stay with me. Here in Kansas. Instead he is moving to L.A. California to live with 3 other guys. Yeah we just graduated from highschool but he didn't have to move so quickly.

~ 3 days later~

(S-Sam C-Colby J-Jake)

C-¨Sam, you don't have to go. Why don't you just stay here? You know where your actual family is and not your internet family is. I don't understand why you have to go.¨

S-¨Colby I already explained to you. Look you will barley notice I'm gone. You have Jake. You will be fine. I will be fine. I promise.¨ 

Whenever Sam says I promise I don't believe him. 

S-¨Colby? Colby? You okay dude?¨

C-¨What? Yeah. Sam I don't want you to go.¨ I said as I put the box in the trunk of his car.

S-¨I know Colby but maybe you can come out for a visit?¨

J-¨What up losers!¨ See Jake is the loud one out of the group. He always yelling or making some stupid joke about spongebob or something like that.

C-¨Hi Jake.¨

S-¨Hey Jake.¨

J-¨So Sam you're actually moving?¨

S-¨Yeah I leave in an hour.¨

J-¨Oh. Well that gives us an hour to do anything we want, but since you're the one moving what do you want to do?¨

S-¨Honestly I don't care just as long as I'm with you two!¨

C-¨Sam that was really cheesy!¨

S-¨Haha I know. But I don't know what I wanna do.¨

J-¨What if we go to the old warehouse we all used to hangout at and live old memories?¨

C-¨That would be so much fun!¨

S-¨That sounds great. Who's car are we taking because mine is packed full?¨

C-¨We can take mine if you want?¨

J-¨To Colby's car because I don't feel like driving.¨ 

We all pile into my car, with Sam in the front seat and Jake in the back. I turn on the car as Jake plugs in his phone for music. I pull out of the parking space I was in and drove to the old warehouse where I spent most of my days at. We played music and joked around the whole time. I'm really going to miss this. I'm going to miss having happy Sam around. Sure I could drive out there and surprise him but I can't just leave Jake all by himself. He would go absolutely insane if I left him here. Yeah I know your probably saying just take him with you. Jake is the worst on long road trips. He is like a kid, constantly asking if we are there yet and always asking if we could stop at every town we pass. So if I ever go to California he is going to have to drive by himself in his own car. 

We finally reach the field where the warehouse is. I park the car and almost immediately Jake jumps out of the car already ready to go.

C-¨Look Sam I'm sorry I have been naging at you about moving but for the past 4 years we have not spent one day apart from each other. I'm just worried that you are going to move and we will lose our bond and find new friends and have a life without each other in it. And for that I'm sorry, but I don't know if I can take you leaving me.¨

S-¨Colby, I understand where you are coming from but this is for us. This move is for us to grow into a bigger youtube channel. You can't just hold me back from it....¨

C-¨Sam, you are not understanding me. I want you to go but I thought it was going to be the both of us going not just you.¨ I interrupt him.

J-¨Hey love birds are you coming or not?¨ Jake says knocking on the car window.

S-¨We should go.¨ Sam says getting out. 

How do I tell my bestfriend that he can't go because I love him?
