Meeting the teammates

Daan's POV:
My phone just buzzed while I was talking to Viv, Jill and Lisa. We share a house together, everybody calls us The Dutchies and The one Scottish girl. It's really fun for Jill, Viv and me, but Lisa says that we drive her crazy when we talk Dutch because she doesn't really understand. Viv and Lisa are in a relationship and I think it's going really well, sometimes I'm kinda jealous of them because I also want to have somebody to cuddle with. On those days I just cuddle with Jill, who thinks it's quite funny that I feel lonely. Just kidding she loves me, don't worry. Okay but back to the beginning, so my phone buzzed and I saw that Jordan had texted me:
Jordan: Heyy, we're on our way to you with the new girl so she can meet everyone, you ok with that?
I texted her back:
Me: yeah sure, I'll tell the rest! See you soon!
When I was about to tell the rest the news, Jill suddenly said with her annoying voice:
"Oeeehhh Daan, who are you texting?? Is it your secret lover??"
I think I forgot to tell you that Jill is very annoying when it comes to relationships. She always tries to set up everybody with someone, if it either is somebody from the team or some creepy dude from a bar, she will always try. She doesn't have a boyfriend herself, but her excuse for that is that she is so busy to help us find somebody, she doesn't have time to find someone herself. Bullshit if you ask me. So I answered her with the same annoying voice:
"No, Jillie, it was Jordan texting me that they are on their way with the new girl to meet us. No secret lover or whatsoever."
Right after I said that, the doorbell rang.

Beth's POV:
We just  showed up to the house and I'm a little nervous, what if they don't like me? Leah seems to read my mind, she comes up to me and says:
"It's okay, I'm sure they'll like you!"
"Yeah and if they don't, I will beat their ass!" Jordan suddenly comes into the conversation.
She always makes me laugh and this time she does it again. We walk inside the building and go up the stairs. Suddenly we're standing in front of a door.
"Here it is! Jordan will you ring the doorbell please?" Leah wakes me up out of my daydreams.
Jordan rings the doorbell and we hear almost immediately somebody coming up to the door.
"Heyyyyy Lisa!!!" Jordan en Leah say at the same time. I guess that girl must me Lisa.
"Hi, I'm Beth.", I introduce myself.
"Hi Beth, come on in!
We walk in and I cannot believe my eyes; there are so many beautiful people in this room! I see a girl around my height with gorgeous brown hair, I see quite a tall girl with a high ponytail and another gir- hey I know her! That's Vivianne Miedema, she was the best female player of the premier league last season!
"So this is Daniëlle, you can call her Daan, right Daan?" The girl with the beautiful brown hair nods.
"And this is Jill and Vivianne, but you can call her Viv."
"Thanks Lisa, for introducing me", I say," Hi everyone, I'm Beth!"
Jill, Viv and Daan greet me. I can't really get my eyes off Daan, she so cute and pretty. Suddenly she walks up to me.

Daan's POV:
The new girl walks on with Jordan and Leah and I am stunned. She is so pretty with her blonde hair and gorgeous blue eyes. I see her looking at me too, so I quickly look away. Lisa introduces everybody to her and then she introduces herself:
"Thanks Lisa, for introducing me", She says," Hi everyone, I'm Beth!"
Beff, that is such a beautiful name. Jill and Viv walk up to Jords and Leah to hug and greet them, so I decide to walk up to Beff:
"Hi, I know Lisa already introduced me, but I wanted to introduce myself again. So I'm Daniëlle, but you can call me Daan, everybody calls me that."
She smiles at me, "Hi Daan, nice to meet you."
Suddenly Jordan runs to me and hugs me.
"Wow, Jordan, I'm in the middle of a conversation, can't you see?" I say, a little frustrated because she interrupted my talk with Beth.
"Sorry, Daan, i just missed you." Jordan says, making puppy eyes.
"Oh, stop it Jordan, you know I can't handle your puppy eyes! Now please just let me talk to-" I notice that Beth walked up to Jill and Viv to talk to them.
"Nevermind"
"Oh, I'm sorry Daan." Jordan says. I can hear she's rally sorry.
"Don't worry it's fine." I say and give Jordan a hug.
The rest of the evening we all  just talk to get to know Beth more, watch a movie and order Chinese.
