"I'm back!" I said as I walked into the base still holding (y/n), "Vanessa what's with the kid?" The captain asked, "This is (y/n) he'll be joining us from now on." I said as I rubbed the sleeping child's back, "So what are you gonna take care of it or something?" He said, "Yes, yes I am." I said, "Fine just keep him away from my stuff." He said as he walked away, suddenly (y/n) began to wake up, "Well good morning sweetie, I'm Vanessa and I'll be taking care of you." I said, "Mama?" (y/n) said, "Yeah, I guess I kinda am your mother now aren't I." I said, "Let's see you don't have a grimoire yet, so let's go see about getting that taken care of." I said, "I can tell that you have an abundance of magic power, maybe one day you could become a captain or even the Wizard King!" I said as we walked out.
(y/n) POV
Mama took me to go get a grimoire, I didn't know why, but if Mama asked me to do it than I would. I would do anything Mama told me to since that's what I had always done. "Well this is rather unorthodox to have a child such as yourself requesting to be given a grimoire at your age, but I shall have to decline. Even if your mother is a magic knight." A old man said, "Oh come on just give him his grimoire. If he's not ready than he just wont get one, but if he is than his mom will guide him." A man said from behind me, "Y...Yes sir Wizard King!" The old man said as a lot of books flew off their shelves and flew around the room. Suddenly several of the books broke apart and combined their pages together forming a new book that landed in my hands.

Despite how it looked it was very light, but the feeling it gave me scared me a bit. "Well well seems you got yourself a grimoire. Good job kid." The Wizard King said as he ruffled my hair before looking at my grimoire, "Well seems you got a powerful grimoire, maybe a bit too powerful." He said.
"Well sweetie did you get a good one?" Mama asked, I showed her my grimoire, "A six leaf clover?" She said, "Good?" I asked, "I'm not sure darling, I've never seen a grimoire like this before." She said, "Let's go home." She said as she took my grimoire and picked me up.
"Hi there I'm Asta, it's a pleasure to meet you." Asta shouted energetically, "Mama." I said as I hid behind my mother, the energetic boy was new and scary to me. I was used to most people just ignoring me, and no one from the village was ever this energetic. "It's alright, I'm sorry for scaring you." He said, "Asta this is (y/n) he's my new son." Mama said, "Hey (y/n) let's see your magic!" Asta said as Mama handed me my grimoire, I nodded and opened my grimoire, "Void magic, Anti Wave." I said as a glowing black orb appeared in front of me and fired a blast of energy at a large rock, but nothing happened, "here try this spell, it looks like your last one wasn't cast correctly." Mama said as she turned to another page, "Void creation magic." I said as a bright light shone from inside my grimoire, suddenly a woman with weird wings and a tail appeared.

And just as suddenly as she appeared she disappeared just as quickly. "Sweetie are you alright?" Mama asked as I fell, she caught me and picked me up, "Looks like you used a bit too much mana, how about you go take a nap while you replenish your mana and I'll make you some lunch." She said sweetly, I nodded an fell asleep on her.
Vanessa POV
'That Anti Wave spell of his, could it be anti-magic?' I thought as I tucked (y/n) into my bed, "No it couldn't possibly be anti-magic! Asta's the only one who can use anti-magic." I said, "So I wonder what this void magic can do?" I said as I walked away.
