"Would you go out with me for a friend's birthday party?" Jordan suddenly said taking Olivia by surprise.

"Um, Jordan... I don't go to parties." She shyly replied.

"Oh, you don't have to worry, it's just dinner at his house. You two have already met."

Olivia was confused by Jordan's last statement. She wondered what friend of his she must have met, then it hit her.

"Justin?" She asked to be sure. Jordan only nodded in reply.

"Well, I don't think I'm the best option for that. You can take your girlfriend with you, you know?" Olivia said.

Jordan wasn't expecting such a reply from Olivia. He just kept staring intently at her making Olivia very uncomfortable. She was scared that she might have said something wrong to bring back the old Jordan.

"I didn't..."

"You know I don't date." Jordan blurted out, not giving Olivia room to finish her sentence.

Olivia was surprised and confused by what Jordan said. She didn't understand what he meant by he didn't date and how he expected her to know that he wasn't with anyone when they only started talking recently. All along, she thought he wasn't single, it seems she was wrong about that. No wonder he had the time to come check on her.

'What were you thinking, Olivia? That he'd leave his girlfriend just to spend time with you because Joseph had asked him to? No, he only did it because he wasn't committed to anyone' she thought to herself.

Olivia's head was still going in circles when she suddenly heard Jordan call out her name.

"OLIVIA!" He called. Olivia was startled at first before gaining her composure.

"I'm sorry." She apologized.

"Are you okay?" He asked looking at her like she wasn't okay.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Are you sure?.... You weren't even listening to me at all. You just zoned out." He said.

"Sorry, you were saying?" She asked trying to get him to talk. He sighed before replying

"You don't have to go with me if you don't want to,"

"No, I didn't mean it that way. It's just...." She trailed, not having anything else to say.

"I'll go with you." she finally said not having any excuse to not go with him. Jordan smirked at her reply.

Tomorrow came like a flash and Olivia was nervous. She didn't understand why Jordan had chosen her to be his date for Justin's birthday dinner. He could just go with some other girl, why did it have to be her? Olivia kept on thinking to herself. She got into the bathroom, brushed her teeth, and took a shower before leaving the bathroom in her bathrobe. She sat in front of the mirror to make her hair, deciding to stick with curls tonight for a change. After that, she did her makeup, not very heavy not very light, just the right amount. Then she picked up the dress that she had picked out for the night. It was a black and white printed bandeau dress, the dress was above her knees but hugged her curves perfectly. Olivia wore her dress with black heels and a black purse. She checked herself in the mirror one last time before going downstairs to await Jordan's arrival.

Jordan sat in his car thinking. He couldn't believe he had told Olivia that he didn't date. He was so stupid to have said that, the truth was that he wasn't thinking before he said it.

'What would she be thinking of him right now?' He thought to himself.

Jordan was thinking so much about what he said yesterday that he didn't notice that he was taking too long to get Olivia, so they could go for the dinner. When he realized this, he took a deep breath, got out of his car, and walked to Olivia's door. He knocked on the door and after a minute Olivia opened it. Justin was right when he said that Olivia was hot, she wasn't just hot but also gorgeous and sexy. He wondered how she managed to look good in everything.

"Hi," Olivia greeted.

"Hi. Are you ready?" He asked.

"Yes, I guess," she replied sounding a little nervous.

Olivia on seeing Jordan became nervous. She started to wonder if what she was wearing was okay for the dinner they were attending. Olivia couldn't help but stare at Jordan, he was as perfect as Joseph, wearing a navy blue button-down long-sleeved shirt with black pants and men's shoes, if that's what they call it. She couldn't help the blush rising on her cheeks from just thinking about her boyfriend Joseph.

They got inside his car and then Jordan began their ride to the dinner party. On their way there, Olivia couldn't help but wonder why Jordan never dated anyone because he was handsome and perfect for most girls. Well, it could be because he was a player back then in school, maybe he hasn't quit the act.

Jordan arrived at a big nice house that had a wide garden area where one could hold events, Olivia had no idea Justin was this rich. They both got out of the car and walked to the door. Jordan rang the doorbell twice and Justin was the one who opened it.

"Hey, I thought you wouldn't show up," he said to Jordan while giving him a bro hug.

"Olivia?!" Justin said with a surprised look.

"Hi," she shyly greeted.

Justin looked from Olivia to Jordan and back to Olivia having a surprised and suspicious look. Olivia didn't like the look Justin was giving her because she wasn't doing anything wrong by accompanying Jordan to a dinner party. Justin gestured for them to come in, and then he introduced them to some of his colleagues and some other friends, both from high school and college. Olivia didn't feel comfortable anymore after seeing some old schoolmates, She suddenly regretted accepting to come along with Jordan who was busy greeting some friends. All of them were surprised to see Jordan with Olivia.

"This is my wife, Rebecca," Justin said introducing them to a very beautiful blonde lady. She didn't look familiar to Olivia, maybe the couple met while in college.

'Too bad for all those cheerleaders who had spread their legs for Justin back in high school.' Olivia thought to herself.

"Can I steal Jordan for a while?" Justin asked.
