When You're Ready

~The Radio Interviews~

Shawn's P.O.V.

Right after the release of the song everything went crazy, it seems like I was reliving the way stitches happened because so many people were really tweeting good comments about our song. I thought the people wouldn't like it but they quickly fell in love with it, right now I was back on radio interviews and show interviews together with Camila not just only to promote our songs but also to perform them live. We started out with Kelly Michaels yesterday, The Tonight Show and then we would be in Elvis Duran radio studio today.

Camila and I met up in the meeting room backstage and she was really so excited to be going on in radio stations today with me, I actually think that we have 3 radio stations to visit today in order to fully promote our song. Andrew had been a great manager and kept giving us our schedule which is actually very convenient, even Camila was impressed at his great managing skills as everything was really prepared.

"Hey guys" Elvis Duran greeted us with a smile, there was also a woman with her named Danielle who will also be the anchor of the show.

"So you snuck away into a studio this past summer and recorded the song we're about to play" Shawn and I nodded our head, seemingly now knowing what to say or do since they still haven't asked us any song.

"Everybody's heard it already, you guys kept this a big secret for a very long time. How did you do that?"

"We didn't" Camila shortly replied, probably still not knowing how to since she literally just woke up a few minutes before we start this show.

She was so tired but it didn't stop me from making fun of her, she was sleeping in mama's lap when I suddenly posted, Andrew my manager saw what I was doing and so he took a picture of me. Mama was really having fun watching me tease her even when she's asleep but for sure Camila's going to act like a child when she sees the picture of her sleeping.

"It was very very hard actually, it's really hard"

I think I needed a thousand wodds from Andrew saying 'this is a secret, no one should know', I remember how many times he kept repeating that because this brain of mine can easily forget and so I probably might've spilled the beans whenever I can. Good thing really I was able to move past that stage and now our song is finally out!

"First of all, Shawn, Camila how did you two meet each other?"

Common questions and so common answers, we really had been asked about this for the nth time and for sure further shows and radio anchors will still continue to ask about us with this topic.

"We were having a tour with Austin Mahone" I answered briefly, it was the best answer since it was short and that's the truth. I really just don't like to elaborate much since, Camila and Austin seemingly had a relationship... although I think Austin didn't see her worth.

"We didn't really talked that much during the Austin tour because-"

"I hated her"

Camila was defintely surprised at my words but somehow, you can say that she already expected that since we tease each other non stop and even in interviews which makes people more curious on what's the real score between us. They actually can speculate more and more but we really don't care, Camila is a very carefree and open minded girl in which I am really porud of, she has such a great personality that I think everyone would be jealous to have.

"Yeah, I hated him too so we were just like a ten foot. We always made sure to stay away from each other" Which was half truth and half lie, at times we were so close but at times I really distanced myself from her since I was new to having someone so oppostie with my personality with me.
