A few weeks after Talia Hales visit and Derek was in the clearing in the preserve with his pack for combat training, he was getting frustrated the only ones who had actually managed to land a hit on him have been the twins, and Boyd but Boyd's hits where not exactly impacting and Derek knew why so he wasn't to bothered about it knowing it's because Boyd wouldn't dare hit his Alpha "Stop" Derek called throwing Erica Isaac away from him, the pack froze and looked at Derek who was rubbing his eyes "Pairing up, Erica and Boyd, Ethan and Isaac, Jackson and Aiden"

"What about you?" Stiles called stepping into the clearing, Derek turned to look at Stiles with a smile, he some how sense Stiles was on his way and this was the first training Stiles is showing up to "hey" he said as he waved to Derek's pack, Danny and Scott behind him a frown on each of their faces

Danny's frown vanished as he spotted Ethan a small smile showing and Lydia went and found a comfy spot to sit and watch "you came" Derek spoke up as Stiles stepped up next to him "we can switch them up if you like, mine maybe useless but I think they know how to fight a little"

Stiles chuckled and nodded "yeah like Scott said we don't know how to fight"

Scott hung his head in shame, he had apologised for what he said about Derek but it doesn't mean he's completely forgiven "Isaac with Scott, Ethan with Danny"

Stiles smirked "Danny will be pleased about that arrangement"

"What about Stiles" Scott questioned with a frown

Derek looked at Stiles "with me?" Derek questioned and Stiles just nodded "ok then, Ethan and Isaac take it easy with Danny and Scott show them the basics of combat I'm putting my faith in you both"

They nodded and the packs stated the training, Ethan and Isaac explaining combat to Scott and Danny before showing them moves then trying them out, Derek watched them for a moment to make sure there wasn't any problems with his arrangements before turning to Stiles "ready?" Stiles asked biting his lip

Derek nodded and they both got into a fighting stance, Derek explaining some technique to Stiles, "hit me" Derek finally said, he chuckled as he dodged the punches and kicks Stiles threw at him, Stiles was fast with his movements and Derek seemed impressed at how fast Stiles picked up the few moves he had explained, they where doing this for a few hours before Derek caught one of Stiles fists spinning him around before gently shoving him away

Stiles let out a huff "you're to fast" Stiles said as he pouted

Derek chuckled taking the few steps to Stiles "then you need to be faster" Derek grinned only to soon grunt and stumble back at the impact of an elbow into the ribs and soon be blinking up in shock as Stiles tripped him onto his back

"Or just be sneaky and wait for the right opportunity" Stiles grinned down at Derek, everyone stopped and stared at Derek on the ground and Stiles standing over him, "need a hand" Stiles chuckled reaching his hand out to the older Alpha

Derek grinned up a proud look on his face as he took Stiles hand pulling himself up with minimal help because he honestly didn't need it "you're one fast learner Sti"

Stiles smiled up at Derek and Lydia cleared her throat after sometime and both Alpha's turned to look at her, she raised one of her eyebrows at them before looking at there still linked hands, they looked at each other before quickly letting go and turning away from each other "I don't know about you wolves but I'm going to go get some food" she said getting up from her spot "Who's hungry" she said looking towards the packs past the Alpha's

They all called out a yes before following Lydia they stopped as Scott didn't follow "Scott" Danny called

Scott let out a sigh "fine" he frowned and turned away from Derek and Stiles following Lydia and the others"

Derek blinked "I don't think she was inviting us" Stiles said once they all vanished into the tree's

Derek nodded raising an eyebrow "she just stole our packs and left us behind" Stiles nodded in agreement, they stood silent for a moment staring into the tree line before looking at each other "want to get something to eat?"

Stiles pursed his lips and nodded "sure"

"I'll cook something if you beat me to the loft" Derek grinned and Stiles grinned back going into a half shift before running off "hey I wasn't ready" Derek called running after him, they ran for a shot time before there was a click sound and Derek was in the air hung by his wrists with a burning sensation surrounding them "Shit"

"Derek" Stiles went over to help him "what's this?"

"A trap" Derek groaned "don't touch it's covered in wolfsbane, hide they're coming , there's less chance they won't hurt me but they might not even blink twice to killing you not all hunters leave teenagers alone"

Stiles looked at Derek worried before quickly hiding in the bushes hearing the rustle of some leaves, an old man walked up to Derek with two younger men beside him, one of the younger guys raised the gun he held and pointed it to Dereks head "how eventful the son of Talia Hale the first night I'm here, didn't think I could get so lucky"

Derek just glared at him "really, what makes you think it was lucky to capture me, it's not clever to capture a Hale, haven't you realised that yet" Derek growled back in anger

"Take him in" the old man spoke before the other guy shot him

Stiles went to dive up but was quickly held down and mouth covered "stop or they will see you" Chris whispered "I can get him out but not both of you they will kill you Stiles without a second thought" Stiles froze as Gerard looked around as if he heard something, Chris held Stiles down and waited until the others where gone before letting Stiles go

Stiles ran his hand through his hair and looked at Chris a panicked look in his eyes "they might kill him"

"They won't" there was complete confidence in his voice "He's not an idiot, Derek is practically a prince to the super natural world to make enemy with a Hale is to turn all wolves and allies against him and he's not going to do that"

"How are you getting him back, isn't that like traitor to hunters if you break him out?"

Chris shook his head "my loyalty maybe with the hunters Stiles but I'm not about to have a war start between us and my dad knows better"

Stiles runs his hands through his hair "what about his pack? How long is it going to take to get Derek back?"

Chris narrowed his eyes "you asking for his pack or you"

Stiles stared at Chris "for his pack I don't even know if I should trust that you will help"

Chris sighs "I have to help Derek or Talia would have my head and I have a daughter to look after or we will have another Kate" Chris frowned "I'll explain it to Derek's pack what's going on, I'll get him out I have help, none of you can fight against the hunters you can hardly fight properly together" Chris walked off and Stiles hesitated before following after him

Chris lead the way to the loft and Erica was the first one to looked panicked as the hunter and young Alpha walked in "where's Derek?" Isaac questioned in a panick

"Gerard has him" Chris stated

"Why didn't you stop him!" Erica hissed out

"I was going to but I had to stop this one from helping or he'd be dead, I will get Derek back and I know none of you trust me but I owe the Hale family because of what my sister has done" Chris explains

Stiles lowers his head Chris could have helped Derek if he wasn't so stupid, Derek's pack looked at Stiles with a frown they could smell the guilt on him "this isn't your fault Stiles" Erica said before walking her way over and pulling him into a hug

"She's right, even if you wasn't there I would have had to let Gerard take him" Chris sighed and headed for the door, "I need to go, I'll be back soon"

Stiles stared at the door worried Erica still had her arms around the worried young Alpha
