Talia took Stiles back to his house and waited by his bed for him to wake up, Lydia was the one who opened the door for him, Talia stroked a hand through Stiles hair as Lydia's mother walked into the room "Hello Talia"

Talia lifted her head to look at the witch nodding her head in acknowledgement "hello" she said before turning her head back to Stiles "you knew all along but didn't say anything"

"Would you have taken him if I did or would you have left him alone in the safety of hiding" when Talia didn't answer the witch Smiled "that's what I thought, my job is to protect him Talia and you taking him would have only put him at risk, in a few weeks that will be uninvitable the boys powers will be released he's more powerful then his mother and being with your son makes the pair dangerous but also what the world needs, if he dies the hunters have the upper hand and everything supernatural is doomed and you know this"

Talia let out a sigh "it's not his powers I'm protecting, it's his life for my son's life" Talia stood up "thank you but you could have told me he was at least safe"

"And risk being followed you know better then that Talia" the witch bit back and shook her head "he's safe and you can see that now, calm down and bring Derek back soon"

Talia gave a defeated sigh before looking at Stiles again "how much does he know" Talia questioned running her fingers through the boys hair

"What you told them in the woods they both know as much as each other, they will both know soon" she paused for a moment "Talia they both may resort to being children again for a few days while their memories come back to them, 10 years is a long time of trapped memories"

Talia sighs "thank you Natalie" they both left Stiles room leaving the boy to rest

Derek was pacing around at his mum's house, he doesn't know why but he could feel the sadness and it was his own but mixed with more then his "I need to see him" Derek let out a sigh, his mum's pack and his mum have him in house arrest he isn't allowed to leave, he gets why, he knows why but it doesn't make the feeling any less "can I at least talk to him please" Derek pleaded, Laura gave him a sympathetic look, he hadn't seen Stiles since before he was taken and all he had was the word of a hunter to know Stiles was ok

"I'm sorry Derek but mum said not to let you do anything outside this house" Derek frowned

"It's not outside the house calling doesn't mean leaving the house" Derek ran a hand through his hair "can't we bring him here?"

Laura shook her head "you will have to talk to mum about it when she comes back, she went to beacon hills I can call her"

Derek's face turned concerned "she won't hurt Stiles will she, she doesn't know, if she hurts him" Laura gave her brother a worried look "she can't hurt him"

Laura sighed and dialed Talia's number, both their heads turning to the door at the sound of the ring tone, Talia muttered something before the door swing open coming face to face with her son and daughter "why do you look so stressed and worried?" Talia said frowning at her son

"He's ok right you didn't hurt him did you?" Derek asked instantly, Talia gave him a warm smile leaving Derek confused "mum!" He pleaded desperately

"He's fine Derek, he was sleeping when I left and Natalie is taking good care of him, he misses you" Talia smiled and made her way into the house

"I want to talk to him" Derek sighs "I just need to know he's ok"

Talia shook her head giving her son the same look Laura did "I can't do that Derek, and he's taking good care of your pack to"

"It's more like our pack then mine, they seem to go to him more then me recently" Derek frowned "then again they probably more his pack then mine, I havn't been there for almost 2 months"

Talia gave him a sad look "they are your pack Derek the twins have always seen you as their Alpha and look how long you were away from them" Derek flinched away as Talia went to reach out to comfort him she let out a sigh "you can go see him soon I promise, the hunters are almost gone" the sadness filled her eyes as she walked away from her child leaving him by the door

Laura moved from where she was stood wrapping her arms around a sad looking Derek he collapsed into her hold wrapping his arms around his sister as he buried his face into her shoulder "he's ok Derek, come on lets do some practice so you are still all big and strong to protect that young Alpha of yours"

Derek stood up and raised an eyebrow "he's not mine" Laura stepped back raising an eyebrow and folding her arms "he's not" he said this time a little more unsure of his own denial

Laura nodded and headed for the back door "if that's what you think" she headed into the back Derek following behind her to train
