You were the one person-beside the boys- Jack felt a connection with. You were his only friend. He'd even stay at your house when your parents weren't home. Watching tv, eating junk food, playing games he hadn't heard of before. He loved being around you. You were so fun and never asked anything of him.
So, when the guys couldn't find him, Cas came to you. In hopes you knew were he was. Though you didn't, you still helped him. By the time you got to him, he seemed so distraught, so lost.
"Jack! It's ok! You didn't mean it! Please, come back. Cas and I will help you"
