You've known Claire for a long time. Being friends since the age of eight. You stuck by her side throughout the years. Through the good and the bad.
However since she moved in with Jody Mills you saw each other less and less. She'd drive over to your house when she got the chance, but with hunting it got progressively worse.
So when a there was a case in your home town, she came in a heart beat. Her going out at night to hunt some supernatural creature didn't sit well with you. Not that you didn't think she couldn't handle herself, but that it was a freakin werewolf she was hunting!
By the time she finished you were sleeping on the couch at a failed attempt to stay up until she returned. Carefully she woke you up, in order to say goodbye.
"It's like four in the morning. Your staying until at twelve tomorrow...or today"
