[5] - types of graphic stuff (pt. 1)

■ A cover is a what readers see first when they check out your book. So, make sure your cover is not terrible and it shows the concept of the story. Oh, and it also must include the title, subtitle (optional) and the author's name.

■ There are three types of covers, according to me :
  ¤ simple
     > like its name, it is very simple and easy, and all you need is a picture and an app that can type your title.
    > suitable for every genre
    > sample :

  ¤ minimalist
     > this type of cover is usually shown in illustrations.
     > i do not reccomend this type if you're making a horror story or a mystery story, because it's too cute ^^
    > mostly used in teenfiction novels
    > there 2 types as well :
        ♡ illustration/flat art
            > it is conveyed with cute and simple drawings
            > sample :

        ♡ vector
            > a very famous type of cover
            > most difficult (I have a hard time tracing people's nose and lips)
            > you trace a person then decorate the background and add text

  ¤ manipulation
     > quite difficult, because I'm still not good at it
    > basically, you combine pictures and PNGs to manipulate the readers' eyes
