The Sleepover

Scene 2- Brainstorming

(Full stage, lights up, dim. Kristy, Randy, and Oliver are sitting in their apartment. Randy is lying on the couch, Oliver is sitting at his desk, and Kristy seems to have gotten off track as she is coloring in her notebook)

Oliver: Any ideas yet?

Randy and Kristy: No.

(Lights go on and off on every time Oliver asks for ideas to show time passing by.)

Oliver: Any ideas yet?

Randy and Kristy: NO!

Oliver: Any ideas yet?

Randy: We are not getting anywhere like this.

Oliver: (looking out the window) Oh, it's a full moon tonight.

Kristy: The moon is white, snow is white. There is a lot of snow in Antarctica. Penguins live in Antarctica. The full moon makes people crazy. People are werewolves. Penguins are werewolves. Were-penguins. Werequins!

Randy and Oliver: What?

Oliver: What are you talking about?

Kristy: Just brainstorming.

(Lights go on off to show the passing of time as the three adlib ideas brainstorming. As it goes Randy and Oliver get disturbed by Kristy's "Brainstorming". After a while Oliver groans.)

Oliver: We have been at this since Tuesday, and we still haven't made much progress at all.

Randy: What day is it?

Oliver: (checks watch) Thursday Morning.

Randy: Why did you check your watch for that?

Oliver: (still staring at the watch) I'm tired guys, I really am.

Kristy: How much have we slept? I can't tell anymore.

Randy: I don't think we have gotten an ounce of a wink.

Oliver: (still staring at his watch) It's still Thursday morning, I think.

Randy: (glancing at Oliver) We should probably take a break and that watch from you.

Oliver: Don't touch my watch and that's a grea- (Passes out)

Randy: It is indeed a good Idea ma- (Passes out)

Kristy: Werequins! (She yells falling down on the floor passing out last)

(All three of them succumb to sleep finally. Black out.)
