"What's going on?" Azalea said with worry as she heard everything
As Amber closes the door they hear Mika say no.
"This is suicide!" Aster said
"Get out of there now!" Lark said
"Amber please don't do this.." Azalea said as tears were already starting to form in her eyes
They heard Amber mumble, "Take care, stupid brats."
"Mika do something! Open the door!" Wren said as Mika tries to open the door but he fails
"I can't seem to open this..." he said as he grunted and tries to pull the door open
"Then blast the door away! Don't let her do this." Wren said
"I don't have any grenades!" Mika said
"Damnit! Amber get out of there! Try to find another way out..." Wren said
"Please just get out of there alive. We need you.." Azalea said with a crack voice as she gulped and takes a deep breath. She was on the verge of tears. But it was all useless as Amber couldn't hear them, she had taken her earpiece off. Just then they all heard an explosion.
Everyone's eyes went wide.
"I...I can't believe this..." Lark said
"This is not fair!" Aster said as tears formed in her eyes
Azalea was still for a moment. She didn't say anything nor move an inch. Suddenly she becomes dizzy and faints. Wren catches her before she could fall.
"Lea!" Aster and Lark said at once
Flashback
"Ouch!" Wren said as Amber had just hit his head with her notebook
"You're sleeping in my office again." She said
"Because I'm sleepy." He said
"Then go sleep in the infirmary." She said
"Nah. This room is much better." He said
"Don't you have any classes to attend to?" She said
"I do...but...." Wren said as he got up
"They're troublesome?" Amber said
"Something like that." He replied
"When will you ever change? You have so much potential, Wren. You can do it all but still there are times you chose not to do it. Last week you were nominated to be a councillor. A councillor at such a young age! You're only in academy right now and still you were given a chance at it, but you left the paper empty, slept throughout the exam and didn't show up for the interview. Just why? Don't say it's troublesome because when you say things are troublesome but in reality there's a good reason behind it. You just find it a drag to explain the reason. So tell me. Why did you do it?" She said
"Umm...I didn't want to be one. Even if I become one at this stage, they're all gonna treat me as a kid and I'll be forced to follow the orders of the others and agree with them. I won't have much power politically. Plus I need to first gain some experience of the real world, in the field work. Because then I'll be able to understand better the value of my position." Wren said
