"Alex." A grown voice said behind me
I turned and saw a tall figure standing in front of me he was wearing a gray jacket which covered a white shirt, his pants were a beige color with black vans.
"Yes?" I asked
"Do you remember me?" He asked politely
"Um. No sorry." I replied grabbing some toilet paper and water
"You don't remember me? I'm Andy... you know pow pow." He said making motions with his hands
I couldn't help but laugh.
"Hah... Are you that kid that always came over when my parents weren't home?" I asked
"Yes. Yes, that's me" Andy replied grabbing my groceries.
"You don't have to do that." I offered
"I insist." Andy gestured pulling me forward
I only remembered him because of the way he was moving his hands. I know it sound weird but it just happens. We stood in line for about five minutes because the employees here didn't know how to work.
"How have you been?" Andy asked
"Good... You?" I replied
"I'm doing alright." He said grabbing the groceries
I gave him a friendly smile and then made my way out the store. The weather was kind of cloudy and very cold. Considering I only had a little I was wearing a sweater that was fairly worn out and jeans along with my converse. It wasn't enough to keep me warm.
"Where's your car?" Andy said kneeling down
"I don't have one." I laughed "I took the bus."
"I'm taking you home." Andy demanded
For him being good looking he was an asshole.I looked at him and smiled cautiously, making sure I was careful with every word I said. We made our way to his car which was a mustang covered with a silver color.
"This is really nice." I said
"Thanks, I got it from my work." Andy replied
"Oh cool. What do you do?" I asked
"Um... I sell stuff." Andy said reversing out of the parking lot "where do you live?"
"I'm staying at the motel behind the mountains." I replied
"Motel 6? Where's your family?" Andy asked
"Well, I didn't want to do what I was doing anymore so I left." I said
"Wanna talk about it?" Andy replied
"No" I coughed
"Okay, then."
The car ride home required very loud music by Pierce The Veil and Nirvana. The motel was only 3miles from where I was staying but it went by fast.
"Turn in here and stop at the 2nd door on the left." I stated quietly
"Okay, mind if I come in?"
I looked around for a while and finally agreed.
"No I don't mind." I smiled
We got out of his car and walked into my room, the lights were lightly dimmed and the bed was messed up because I haven't made it in the past 3 days. I looked at Andy who was playing with the vase at the table.
"What do you do in here?" Andy asked
"Nothing." I replied
"Not even watch T.v?" Andy said getting ready to turn it on
"No, don't turn it on it's already $39.50 per night plus the extra 50 cents for the T.V." I stated
"How much do you have." Andy asked
"300 till the end of the week. But I'm already down to $230." I replied
"We'll call me when you're out." Andy said turning on the T.V
I laughed and looked at the clock the time read 5:25 not that late.'15 year old Austin Harris was found dead today in his room at 9:00 am exactly along with his grandmother. Friends were concerned because he wasn't showing up to school at first they thought he was sick. The investigation is still in work but we'll have more details to come.' The guy on the T.V stated
"That poor kid." Andy butted in
"Yeah." I replied "Maybe you should go."
"What? Why?" Andy asked
"Well I have stuff to do and finish up. I'll call you when I'm all situated okay? We'll go get coffee or something." I replied opening the door
"Okay promise?" Andy smiled
"Promise." I replied
I shut the door and faced the back of it causing my back to rest upon it. I cried and cried my heart was breaking and I couldn't fix it. I grabbed my phone and dialed Austin's phone I just needed to hear his voice. 'Hi you've reached the phone of Austin sorry I can't get the phone right now I'm probably doing something better goodbye hah.' I took the phone and threw it to the ground.
