alex's instagram was pretty much an ode to your relationship. he was so chuffed to be your partner that all he wanted to do was boast about you to the world. he sat up beside you in bed, but you were asleep all the while. he opened instagram in preparation to let everyone know how lucky he felt to have you. choosing a photo of you alone, alex began to vent his current feelings in the caption..

'If anyone would've said to me, six years ago, that I would be in the most beautiful, giving and priceless relationship with the lovely makeup lady from the set of The Imitation Game, I would've said I did not stand a chance. But here we are, six years later, together. We share a love, our hearts, our souls, a home. I can never really and completely grasp that it is in fact me in this relationship, I never bided myself to have that type of luck. I am so in love. I have so much pride. I am so grateful.

I'm writing this while (y/n) is asleep beside me. I can only type with one hand as my other is being cuddled and held against her body. It's raining out but it's not miserable; every time it rains I think about the day I met my love; how soaked through her hair and clothes were, the hot chocolates we made to warm up that really put us behind schedule. Every day I fall in love again but that day, that day in particular is my favourite. I don't even know who or what to thank. But I'll never stop thanking (y/n) for bringing out the best in me and those around her.

alex put his phone down on the nightstand and slowly moved position to lay down. he moved so slowly and carefully, worrying he'd wake you. after successfully laying right beside you alex kissed your head and whispered his goodnight.
