you turned the taps off on the bath, lit the candles and placed the bath bomb in the water. the wine and glasses were set on the shelf that sat across the bath. your laptop sat on the towel rack, ready to play a movie of alex's choice.
you heard the front door open and close beneath the bathroom. switching the bathroom light off and closing the door, you walked down the stairs to be greeted by your smiling husband; his arms were open for a hug as soon as he dropped his bag. you melted into his arms but soon enough took his hand and lead him to his surprise.
