Mum started taking me to church for "deliverance." I recall an incidence that happened during the children's deliverance session in one fire brand church. Mum woke me up one day and told me I'd be fasting every morning for the next seven days, as there was a deliverance for children.
We got to church that day and they told us to put our hands on our head and scream aloud "every evil power in my body, die by fire." People started falling. The atmosphere was strange and amusing. All I could do was laugh.
The deliverance pastor saw me laughing and claimed it was the "evil spirit" in me that was responsible for that. The pastor took me aside, put his hands on my head and started speaking some strange words into my ears. I later learnt that he was speaking in tongues.
This pastor held on to my head and was turning me around. I said to him: "you are pushing me, sir." "Keep quiet! I command you evil spirit to come out of her in Jesus name," he screamed. I started laughing again telling the pastor that I was not possessed and that all that was happening was just amusing. But he didn't listen to me. He then took an anointing oil and poured it on my head, claiming that he saw me in the spiritual realm. When the pastor was tired, he left me alone but everyone in that church thought I was possessed.
