we sat there, doing nothing, just staring down into the water

"how long have you liked me?" eddie blurted our quickly

i looked over at him, being pulled from my thoughts "w-what?"

he giggled and i blushed "stuttering is bills thing, you dummy. i asked how long you've liked me" he moved closer to me and put an arm around me

"o-oh" i giggled. i looked down and blushed even more "i don't really know, a long time i guess"

"why didn't you just tell me?" he asked quietly, wrapping both arms around me

"i was really nervous, i was never even going to tell you, but im really glad i did" i kissed his forehead

"well, i never really liked you that way until you told me just a little while ago, and now i like you even more then i did before" he hugged me tighter

sorry it's such a short chapter :( i was gonna add bill and stan coming to the quarry and finding them but decided not to cUz i want them to find out a different way, so i'll do that soon
