She woke up in a strange room, and for a moment, she couldn't remember where she was. And then it all came back to her. She heard him stir in his sleep and she looked at him. He looked so innocent, like an angel. The sun hit his face and she couldn't help but steal a kiss on his lips. And then he woke up
"Good morning stranger," she whispered in his ear smiling.
"I'm I in heaven?" He asked her, a silly smile forming on his lips.
She kissed him on the lips again. "No,you aren't."
"I could get used to waking up like this," he said as he returned the kiss in equal measure.
"Well, you won't,this isn't going to happen again." She said, a serious expression on her face.
"Why not?" He asked.
"I'm not your rebound Jayson, I can never be," she said as she got out of bed, wrapping a bed sheet around herself as she collected her discarded clothes from the floor.
"What did I do wrong? Is it something I said?" He asked and he heard the despair in his voice, and that shocked him to the core.
"It's not you,it's me," she said as she slammed the door behind her.
Jayson got up and put on his sweats as he rushed after her. She had locked herself in the bathroom and he could hear her sobs across the door.
"Come on Wendy, what's up?" He asked, knocking on his bathroom door like a maniac.

The door suddenly opened and she stormed out, fully dressed,in her clothes from last night.
"I'm leaving," she said as she headed towards the front door. "Look Jayson, you're a great guy. Sure you've had your share of rotten luck, but I can't do this. Thank you for a good time, and don't try contacting me." She said with finality and left.
He just stood there, wondering what the hell he'd done wrong. The ringing of his phone brought him back to his senses. He took it from his pocket and he saw that it was Mark.
"You guy my guy, ulipotelea wapi janaa? Ama it's that chille from the club?" Came his best friend's voice from the other end.
"I'm okay Mark, Wendy and I were walking when it began raining, so we went home."
"Your place ama hers. Anyway, never mind,so did you smash that thaang? Tell me you didn't pass the chance. It's about damn time you got laid," Mark went on incessantly.
"Mark, si you stop with all these questions jamaa. It's an invasion of my privacy. Niwache bana," he said, sounding irate.

"Chill bruh, sina ubaya. I've just been worried about you. You know I mean no harm," Mark said, taken aback by his friend's outburst. "When you didn't come back, I was worried, though a few beers later, nlikuwa nishasahau."
"Sorry for biting your head off man. It's been quite an eventful morning. Let's go grab some coffee. Tupatane Café Deli in kitu thirty minutes. You won't believe the crazy morning I've had."
"Kama you're buying, why not?" Mark said laughing and ended the call.
Jayson went to take the shower but the bathroom was filled with her scent. He was done in a record five minutes and he hurriedly got dressed. He went into the kitchen to get an apple and found the spilled coffee from the coffee maker.
"Shit!!" The curse escaped his mouth before he could stop himself.
