After a hot shower, I settled in for a long nap. Exhaustion from the night before, paired with the intense urges felt earlier that morning, left me feeling completely drained both mentally and physically.

It was mid-afternoon by the time I woke up.

The sound of a car door closing brought me out of my daze. I had been standing in front of the open refrigerator, hoping it would be full of food despite not having been grocery shopping in over a week. With a sigh, I closed the fridge, and made my way over to the front door.

I opened the door to find Yoongi with his fist raised, ready to knock.

Stepping aside, I waved Yoongi in. "Welcome to my home."

"Hey." Yoongi slipped off his shoes and took a seat on my couch.

"You want anything to drink? And by 'anything,' I mean water. That's all I have."

"I'm good. Thanks."

"Okay," I said and took a seat on the opposite end of the couch, facing my guest. "So, what's up?"

"I talked to Jimin..." Yoongi trailed off, giving me what I assumed was supposed to be a knowing look. He just looked grumpy though.

I nodded anyway.

"He wants to apologize for his behavior this morning, and he asked me to come along as a buffer."

"Sure, sure. Forgive me if this question seems too obvious, but where is Jimin?"

A warm smile slowly appeared on Yoongi's usually sour face. "I don't know. He was supposed to meet me here."

Yoongi slouched down on the couch, allowing himself to get comfortable. He grabbed a throw pillow and hugged it to his chest.

"He just wanted someone else here in case he got handsy again."

"And you volunteered?"

"I think I'm the only one he told about what happened this morning," Yoongi said with a dry chuckle before narrowing his eyes at me. "What the hell were you thinking going in Jimin's room? Did you not listen to me at all?"

I sighed and wrapped a lock of my newly brunette hair around my fingers. "I did, but no one else was in the house when I realized my keys where in Jimin's room. I mean, you were there, but you were sleeping, and you don't seem like the type of person who appreciates being woken up. I figured I could just get in and out without being noticed. I was mistaken."

Yoongi nodded, "You have good instincts. I don't like being woken up." With a stretch of his arms, Yoongi settled further into the couch. It was almost like he was preparing for a nap. "I'm impressed with your resolve though. Jimin went into detail when we talked earlier, and I don't know how you managed to make it out of there. I don't think I would have been able to resist his charms."

"It was a close call," I admitted quietly. With a shake of my head, I cleared my throat and continued, "Anyway, everything worked out. No one got pregnant. Things are fine." I waved my hand dismissively, signaling the end of the topic. "What's with the music studio?"

"Don't worry about it," he said, brushing me off.

"Okay, why do you have access to the Council's server?" I smiled politely, and Yoongi sighed.

"I like composing music. It's something I got into in middle school and I'm planning to make it into a career. My family does a lot of purchasing and selling of companies, and my dad acquired a small music label when I was in high school. Once I finish my MBA, I'll be taking over the music label. I've been kind of a part-time producer for a couple years now, so it won't be too difficult of a transition."

"Sounds like you have it all figured out." I looked out the front window as a car pulled up in front of my place, and parked at the curb. I turned back to Yoongi, who had just closed his eyes.

"Jimin's here."
