Jimin's hands slipped away from my shoulders that he had pinned to the door, and let them slide down my arms, unwrapping them from his waist. Taking my hands in his, he led me over to the bed.

He pulled me down to sit next to him on the edge of the bed, then reached out his hands to cup my cheeks. Staring into my eyes as if he was asking for permission, Jimin leaned in and gently grazed his lips over mine.

"Sorry," he breathed out, his lips hovering just in front of my own lips. "I just don't want to think about anything right now."

One of his hands moved to grip the back of my neck, and Jimin left a trail of lazy kisses down my jaw to the base of the neck. My entire body was tingling and heating up at an alarming rate. His touch sent shivers down my spine, and it felt like my whole body was vibrating.

Then his words sunk in.

It took all of my self control and presence of mind to gently push Jimin away from where he was attached to my neck.

"Am I just a distraction?" I could hear the hurt in my own voice. I couldn't help but be disappointed. I had fallen for him. Hard.

Jimin's eyes grew wide. "No! No, no, no," he shook his head, and began caressing my cheekbone with the thumb of the hand still cupping my face. "That didn't come out right."

He tilted my chin up slightly, making me look into his eyes. "I want you."

The sincerity in eyes and his words made me a little lightheaded.

And I may have melted a little.

It was exactly what I wanted to hear.

"At first, it was purely physical. But the more I've gotten to know you, the more I want to know about you and be near you." His eyes sparkled and a small smile graced his lips. "I know the circumstances were less than ideal, but I'm so grateful that I met you."

Jimin pressed a sweet kiss to my forehead. "I'm grateful, and it kills me. I wish JiHoon was still here, but..."

He feels guilty.

"If he needed money, why didn't he come to me?"

Wrapping his arms around my waist, Jimin buried his face in my neck. "I just don't want to think about it right now," his words muffled against my skin.

With my arms pinned to my sides, I gently tilted my head to rest on top of Jimin's in an attempt to comfort him.

After a few moments, Jimin's grip on me loosened enough that I was able to extract my arms from his clutches.

He adjusted his position to rest his forehead against my neck, his mouth just above my collarbone. I could feel my cheeks begin to heat up as his warm breath tickled my sensitive skin.

"Thank you," he whispered, lips brushing ever so softly against my flesh.

"For-for what?" I managed to stammer out an answer. Images of Jimin's full lips brushing against my skin raced through my mind. Get your shit together, Y/n. This is not the time.

But damn him anyway! He must know what he's doing. Right? Of course. Yes.

"Being here with me."

I let out a small gasp as I felt Jimin press a feather-light kiss to my collarbone.

"And helping me."

Jimin leaned away from me and straightened up, but his arms tightened around my waist. He pulled me closer until our chests were lightly pressed together.

His dark eyes bore into mine, and I could see the pain he held was being clouded by something else. Passion.

Without overthinking it, I wrapped my arms around his shoulders, letting one hand snake into his hair. I leaned in.

Jimin closed the distance, his lips crashing onto mine with a hunger that I quickly mirrored. He slipped one hand under the back of my shirt, letting his fingertips ghost over the small of my back. With a small shiver, I let out a gasp, and Jimin took the opportunity to lick his way into my mouth. I could feel him smile against my lips.

He started to slowly lean me back onto the bed, when a text notification came through on his phone. Ignoring it, Jimin continued trailing his fingers across my back, making his way to my side before giving my hip a firm squeeze.

Another notification sounded.

Followed by another.

I pulled away needing to catch my breath. Jimin looked at me with a grin, pupils dilated, and gave me a swift peck on the cheek.

His phone went off again.

"Should you check that?" Or put it on silent?

"Yeah," Jimin sighed and reached for his phone where it rested on the nightstand. He pursed his lips into a frown. "They want us to come back upstairs."

Damnit.
