Chapter 4

So you mean my mom and sister are alive and everyone else remembers me?-Boruto

Yes, but they are in a different dimension or universe. We'll just have to put in the correct coordinates in the device and we should be able to go back to our real home.-Sasuke

In seconds, Boruto's face lit up with joy and relieve. He was so happy to hear that everything is going to be alright. Knowing that really puts off some weight off his shoulders. He didn't have to blame himself anymore, for what has happened

Then what are we waiting for? Let's go to our universe or whatever and go home-dattebasa!-Boruto

Did you already forgot what Tsunade said? You can't use the device right away again if you just used it recently. You have to wait a week so it can reactivated.-Sasuke

Oh yeah, that's right. So what are gonna do while wait?-Boruto

I have to find Tsunade, she must know how to operate the device. Naruto said she's gone pff somewhere for a mission or something like that, but he doesn't exactly know where she is.-Sasuke

Well then I'm going with you-ttebasa!-Boruto

Sorry, but I think it's best if you stay here. I work better if I am on my own.-Sasuke

Oh man, you're such a party pooper Sasuke-san.-Boruto

I'm leaving tomorrow morning. I'm not sure how long it will take me to find her, but I'll try my best to find her as fast as I can.-Sasuke

What should I do when you're gone?-Boruto

I've already explained the situation to Naruto. He'll take care of you.-Sasuke

But he doesn't really know me. He was very angry the last time we met.-Boruto

It was probably weird for him that a random boy came to him and claimed to be his son. I know he acts rather cold than usual, but he's still your father. It'll be fine.-Sasuke

I know it's just...he's the one who doesn't acknowledge that.-Boruto

I'll better go now, I still have to do some stuff before I leave. After you rested, you can go ahead and go to Naruto if you like.-Sasuke, then he left the room

Boruto was once again sitting alone on bed. He didn't know what to do and got bored quickly. He didn't really feel sick anymore and decided to leave the hospital. He put on his jacket and shoes and jumped out of the window. After a lot of thinking he decided to just go to his father, he didn't have anything else to do. He can't hang out with his friends, who doesn't even know him and he didn't have any money to buy some food.

At the office

Boruto was about to knock on the door, but he hesitated a bit. He didn't know why and suddenly remembered what Ino said to him. He shook his thoughts off and mustered all his courage

*knock knock*

Come in.-Naruto

Boruto slowly stepped into the room. He didn't even bother looking at his father. He was just standing there and didn't really know what to say. Naruto was very concentrated at the papers that was lying on his desk, he then lifted his head to see who was there

Oh it's you. I'm very of busy right now, but you can sit right over there if you want.*points at a chair across the room*-Naruto

Boruto just nodded and did what his father suggested. After that it went really silent. Boruto was really bored and just watched his father do his paperwork. He cold tell that Naruto was really exhausted. After some time someone came into the room

Hey Naruto.-Shikamaru

What do you want know Shikamaru, can't you see I'm busy?-Naruto

I know that's why I want to help you with your work. I can deal with the paperwork and you can go home and rest a bit.-Shikamaru

It's fine, I can manage.-Naruto

C'mon, it's been ages since you last went home or even ate a proper meal. It won't hurt to take care of yourself once in a while.-Shikamaru

What happened next really shocked Boruto. Naruto stood up and was furious

How many times to I have to tell you? I don't need your help, stop coming to my office if that's all you've got to say. Now can you please leave, as I said I am very busy right now.-Naruto yelled at Shikamaru

*sigh* Sorry for disturbing you.-Shikamaru, then he left the room

T-tou-chan(dad)...-Boruto

I'm sorry but I really don't like it when somebody interferes while I'm working. And please start calling me Lord Hokage from now on.-Naruto

But Tou-ch- I mean Lord Hokage. He is your friend and all he wanted to do was help you, Don't you think that was a bit mean?-Boruto

It's really none of your business, don't think about it.-Naruto

But Boruto had enough. He really wanted to talk to his father about what has been bothering him since he left the hospital

Tell me, when was the last time you talked with aunt Sakura?-Boruto

I don't remember and why do you care anyways?-Naruto

I heard that she doesn't seem very well. Why don't try talk to her and make her feel better?-Boruto

I don't have time, being the Hokage can get very busy.-Naruto

But still, she's your friend and teammate. Shouldn't you both comfort each other in dark times like this? All you can think about is work, what's fun about doing that all day long.-Boruto

Look kid, being the Hokage is a big responsibility. I can't just put important work on hold. I don't have time for hanging out with friends or stuff like that. I must protect the whole village.-Naruto

But you should always appreciate and value your friends. But you clearly don't get that.-Boruto

I had enough! You're really disturbing me right now. Here *gives key and money* Go get some food or go to my house if you like. I need to be alone right now. But don't stay out too late. It's been dangerous lately, because of the Rogue Ninjas. -Naruto

Boruto looked at the key and money his father just gave him and silently left the office. He couldn't believe his father was acting like that *He didn't even tell me where he lives, that baka(idiot)* Boruto had no clue where to go, he just went to a training field outside the village. He couldn't stop thinking about what had happened in the office and his argument with his father. A loud scream snapped him out of his thoughts.

"Let go off me! Somebody, help!"

Without even thinking twice, Boruto ran as fast as he could to the person who was screaming for help. As he arrived at the spot where he heard the scream, he saw Shikadai who was surrounded by a group of older looking shinobis. *Those must be Rogue ninjas tou-chan(dad) and Inojin were talking about, fast I need to help him*

Hey, leave him alone!-Boruto

And what are you going to do? Beat us?- said one of them and they started laughing

I-it's you....-Shikadai

Boruto didn't really think of a plan first, so he did not know how to act best. But he was sure to help his friend
