"So...is there a way to bring these crystals to Urû'baen?" Nasuada asked.
Not until we ask the El-Dars, Beo told her. A group of elves that have been alive since the very beginning of the Dark Elves. But they are so ancient that they are unable to speak or move. They are frozen by magic and contain valuable information about many things. They are similar to the Menoa Tree in Ellesméra, but instead of a single entity, they are a group of five.
"We would have to get their permission," Iro said. "Otherwise they would treat it as an attack and act accordingly. And they could be just as a terrifying enemy as the Wraiths...maybe even more dangerous."
We should leave for E'egroth as soon as possible, Beo advised. We have no idea where or when the Wraiths will strike first.
"I will send word to King Orrin in Surda," Nasuada announced. "Arya, would you be so king as to inform King Orik?"
"At once, my lady," Arya said, standing up and giving a short bow. She leapt onto Firnen's back and the two of them took off.
"I will also have to seek aid from the Urgals and Werecats," Nasuada mused to herself. "Every able-bodied fighter in Alagaësia will have to participate in the coming battle."
Iro was just settling himself in the saddle when Nasuada reached out to him. "Iro? I hope you find your people."
Iro was taken aback. Here was a human queen who had just met him and already she was wishing him luck. "Thank you, my lady," Iro replied, giving an awkward bow from the back of Beo.
