~Charli~

Come on Mimi you gotta do this for me! Charli you lucky I even let you in the damn house. Please just tell her I am here; I need to talk to her. I'll see what I can do but honestly you at the wrong house you should be at your own damn house trying to fix your marriage she said shaking her head as she walked off to go get Gigi. I needed her to tell me how to fix this. I know I was stupid for letting them serve her with the divorce papers, I should have been man enough to do it myself. Rather than let her be embarrassed. I waited and waited before Titi finally came into the room with Roro. She's not going to talk to me. You'd be correct on that and now you've created a problem between her and Ti. What! Yeah, they're arguing right now. Fuck... I mean I didn't mean to cause confusion with yall. Hmph you've been really good at that lately. Titi I know I made a mistake and I feel horrible about it. You better than that shit Charli. I know Titi. If you know why did you do it? Why did you do that to her? I couldn't even say anything because I knew I was wrong for it. Please Titi! I can't Charli, I can't bail you out this time, I've covered for you for so long and this I can't, you messed up. You fix it or live with the consequences she said walking off.

Roro! Charli! Please Roro you know what I am feeling, you've been there before. There's a difference between what I went through and what you did. I never cheated and had a baby outside of the marriage. And I sure as hell wouldn't have had them served in public. But you filed the paperwork. Shh okay I did that but I also cancelled it too. That was a mistake she wasn't supposed to be served in public and really, she wasn't supposed to be served at all Charli. I filed the paperwork but I was still on the fence about it. Roro please just make them understand. She looked at me and then back at the stairs. Charli if I do this for you, you better make it right with Nia. Yes ma'am! Get out of here so I can try to talk some sense into them. Thank you, Roro. Mhm I am serious boy you make it right with her or don't ask me for nothing else again. Ok I said nodding to her before leaving the house.

I was lucky to have one lifeline left cause everyone else had turned on me even my best friend. I tried reaching out to Los but he ain't return my phone calls either. After leaving their house I decided to try to go see Nia, I knew it was a long shot and very dangerous but I had to take the steps to try and fix the marriage. I knocked on the door expecting her to lunge at me when she answered but she didn't. You came for your stuff she said looking at me. Um I...I came to see you. Me! You came to see me? Why! Can we talk in the house? She looked at me and then rolled her eyes before moving so I could come into the house. Soon as she closed the door, I knew I was in trouble but I tried to not to seem like I was too afraid, but I also wasn't stupid either I knew my wife and I knew better than to turn my back on her while she was in this mind frame. Where are the kids? As if you care she said walking towards me. I do care, I care a lot. You didn't care when you cheated on me! Nia! No Charli you didn't care where they were when that bitch came into her home talking all that shit. You didn't care when you up and left the house and the state. Oh, and you surely didn't give a fuck when you had me served with papers at the damn Mother's Day brunch. Tell me why should I believe that you care now? Because I do, despite what you think Nia I love you.

You don't love me! You don't even respect me. But now I've got you right where I want you. I want you to feel the pain that you are putting me through. Nia baby let's not do this I said backing into the couch. Do what Charli! You think I am going to hurt you? I swallowed the lump in my throat as she got closer to me, I could see that she'd been crying and that she'd gone through the gambit of emotions since I'd left her here. Nia baby I am sorry. Fuck your sorry you don't know sorry until you've been embarrassed in front of all of your family and friends. And then to have to explain to your children why their father isn't here she said through gritted teeth. You know what that feels like Charli? Actually, yeah, I do. Naw you don't know what it feels like. Cause you've had everything handed to you, silver spoon baby. Silver spoon, really Nia you know my shit. Oh yeah, I forgot poor Charli doing shit just because his father wasn't there for him. Grow the fuck up that happens to a lot people but none of do the selfish shit that you do. You're hurt so I won't take what you said to heart. Cause you know it's true.
