Chapter 14: the date

Y/N pov

After our "argument" Lauren and I have decided to have a proper date.
Today was the day, but i had it planned in days. I wanted to make it perfect.
I sent Lauren a few text signalling the dress code and the time.
It was now 17 pm, i know early for a date, but not it was the perfect time for what i had in my mind. I wanted to take her to see the sunset in Venice lagoon, but since we are in autumn/winter here the sun goes down early.
At 17 i was down her apartment dressed casually but at the same time smart.

I ringed the bell, and after 5 minutes i saw a breathing Lauren. She was gorgeous. I looked at her from head to toe.

"Like what you see?" She asked amused.
"Of course. You are gorgeous Lauren" i said giving her a kiss on her cheek.
"Are you ready for our Date?" I asked.
"Sure. I am really looking forward for our night, and i really want to see if you have surprised me..." she said going inside my car.
"I hope that you will be" i said and giving gas to my car.

After 10 minutes we arrived in Venice and we took my boat and went to my favourite spot where we had the vision of San Marco square and the the lagoon.

It was beautiful and I caught her interest.
"Like what you see?" I asked smiling. She was still looking at the view and i can tell she was amazed.
"As you have promised you have surprised me" she said looking straight at my eyes.
"It's just the start" i said winking at her and kissing her hand while smiling.

After our little trip on the lagoon, all was quiet and dark.
"So where are we going now?" She asked curious. "It's a surprise" i said. "Please Y/N, tell me" she begged.
"I can't, in fact i have to ask you a thing. Can you please put this band on your eyes? It's part of the surprise..." i asked her. She nodded even if she was hesitant. "Trust me Lauren, you will like this" i said to her. When we arrived in front of the restaurant, i helped Lauren going down of my boat and we entered.
"Can i take off this band now?" She asked.
"We are not arrived yet" i said smiling.
Inside i saw my friend Mario who made me the sign that all was ready, in fact i helped Lauren going inside the lift.
"Going up...Where are you bringing me?" She said in low voice.
When the doors opened, i could see that all was perfect in fact i stopped.
"Now you can remove the band" i said, thing that she did straight away.
We had a whole room just for us, where there was a table for two all arranged in a romantic way bit not too much of course, with Lagoon view. Romantic in a good way.

I could see she was very happy, in fact she turned around and hugged me. I put my head on hers since i was taller than her. We stayed like this for a few time but later we sitted at our table.
All was going perfectly: we had small chat and the food was amazing.
"Y/N i loved tonight. Nobody has ever done a thing like this for me"
"You deserve the world Lauren. You deserve every date to be like this. You deserve to be happy and treated like the person you are, like a princess" i said touching her hand.
Her cheeks became red, but she decide to stand up and coming where i was sitted. She looked straight at my eyes and then kissed me deeply. I smiled in the kiss and continued, trying to make her feel my feelings towards her.
After a few minutes we separated from each others and smiled.
We continued our night after the dinner but when i saw if was late i decided to bring Lauren back to her apartment.
"Thanks for tonight Y/N. It was the best date of my life" she said looking at me.
"Thank you Lauren. I hope we will make other nights like this, and better than this for sure" i said and then i gave her another kiss on her lips.
After the kiss, still looking at me, she came into her apartment and smiled.
I jumped from happiness and smiled still looking at Lauren's apartment.
