"so this is the place you were talking about?" chan asked sitting himself beside me. "yeah! it's pretty right?" i say before opening my lunch box. rice and egg. how grand.
we were setting on elevated steps. they were like little rice terraces in out school yard. "yeah its peaceful here!" he smiles.
"i go here to get away from people" i say swaying my dangling legs "also if you want to have a decent conversation you legit have to scream what you want to say something down at the cafeteria." he laughs at my little remark.
"it sounded a hell lot like buzzing when we passed by earlier" he added smiling at me. i smiled back.
soon an awkward silence passed over us. "okay i have no clue what to talk about now" i laughed nervously. "want to play 20 questions?"
"hmm? yeah sure! you start!" he says his mouth still half-filled with food. i thought for a moment and asked "do you have any criminal records?"
he choked on his food and looked at me like i was crazy "yah,what kind of first question is that?" he says laughing "but no, no i don't" he says "why did you think i have one?" i laughed "no it was just the first thing that popped into my mind.

"okay, how about what's your ideal type?" he asks. we were on our last stretch with only five questions remaining. "oh, i've never thought about that." i say. "why, haven't you dated anyone before?" "nope" i say. before asking
"wait you've had one?" i ask with wide eyes. he nods at me slowly and I let out a long groan. "the baby's all grown up" i say making him roll his eyes at me playfully a small smirk apparent on his features.
"anyways i think'd like someone playful, yet chill at the same time?" i pause thinking more. "i'd also like them to be cute and friendly but clingy and protective at times, that would be adorable!" i laugh. "any specified gender?" he asks
"you have too many follow up questions, i should be counting these!" i pouted "but since im niceee- i dont have a specific gender i like, i'm bi." i said admitting it proudly. "how about you?" i ask throwing the question right back at him.
"oh me?"
"i'm gay"
